October 10-14 in Yalta will host the traditional World Cup of Nations in martial arts. The competition programme includes such martial arts as: kickboxing, combat sambo, Muay Thai, kung fu, combat jiu-jitsu, shotokan karate and of course MMA. We present for your attention the regulations for mixed martial arts MMA
1. Objectives and goals.
• Development and popularization of martial arts in Ukraine and the world
• Promotion of a healthy lifestyle under the slogan “Peace without drugs for the world’s children”
• Improvement of athletes’ skill level;
• Development and strengthening of friendly relations between sports organizations of all countries of the world;
2. Dates and place of competition.
Competition will be held October 10-14, 2013 in Yalta, Inturist Hotel (Ukraine, AR Crimea)
October 10 – arrival day, registration and weighing of athletes from 11:00 to 18:00 at: Yalta, Drazhinskogo St., 50

10:00 – preliminary matches;
16:00 – official opening;
October 12
10:00 – semifinal matches;
October 13
10:00 – final matches, awards ceremony;
October 14 – teams’ departure.
3. Competition management.
General management of competition organization is undertaken by the MMA Federation of Ukraine. Direct conduct of the tournament is entrusted to the chief judging panel and the competition organizing committee.
4. Competition rules and judging panel.
Competition is conducted in accordance with the current international MMA rules. The judging panel is formed from judges recommended by participating teams. All judges are required to complete the seminar on October 10 and will be approved to work in the competition based on the results.
5. Competition programme and participants.
Teams from regions, cities and clubs of Ukraine, CIS countries and the world are admitted to the competition.

6. Competition financing.
All expenses related to the competition are covered by the organizers and charitable entry fees (entry fee equivalent to 40 euros).
Expenses related to travel, accommodation and meals for participants, coaches and judges are borne by the sending organizations.
7. Awards for participants.
Athletes who placed 1st are awarded diplomas and medals. Athletes who placed 2nd – diplomas and medals, 3rd place – diplomas and medals.
The best athletes of the competition will be awarded valuable prizes.
The winning team is awarded a cup.
8. Entries.
Competition participants must have an identity document, fighter’s passport, insurance policy, signed team entries certified by a physician of the sports medicine clinic with official seals, which are submitted to the credentials commission on the day of arrival.
