Objectives and Goals
The World Championship on Kozatskyi Bii and MMA (hereinafter − Championship) is held with the purpose of:
• broad involvement of the population in physical culture and sport;
• military-patriotic and sports education of youth;
• promotion and further development of the sport “Kozatskyi Bii” in Ukraine and the World;
• improvement of qualification level of athletes and judges;
• achievement of sports titles in Kozatskyi Bii in accordance with ESKU.
Scheduled dates: December 3-7, 2016
Venue: Ukraine, Kharkiv, Marshal Zhukov Avenue, 2 − Kharkiv Palace of Sports.
Organization and Management of the Championship
The World Championship on Kozatskyi Bii and MMA is initiated by the World Federation of Kozatskyi Bii (WCFF), the World Federation of MMA (WMMAF), and the Public Organization “Ukrainian Sports Federation ‘Kozatskyi Bii’” (hereinafter – USFIKB). Direct conduct of competitions is entrusted to WCFF and the main judging panel approved by the WCFF Presidium.
650 athletes from 16 countries participated in the championship: Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Iran, Cyprus, Congo, Lithuania, Lebanon, Morocco, Poland, Serbia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine.
