WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN KOZATSKYI DVOBOI
(adults, juniors, youth, children)
1. Aims and Objectives.
The WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN KOZATSKYI DVOBOI is held with the aim of:
— popularization and further development of the Ukrainian national sport «Kozatskyi Dvoboi» in Ukraine and the world;
— raising the level of athletes and judges of the World Federation of Kozatskyi Dvoboi (WCFF);
— development of friendly relations between athletes and public organizations of different countries of the world;
— further improvement of educational and sports work in Children and Youth Sports Schools, Specialized Children and Youth Sports Schools, sports clubs, sections at the place of residence;
— fulfillment of sports titles in Kozatskyi Dvoboi according to the unified sports classification of Ukraine;
2. Term, Venue and Competition Program.
The WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN KOZATSKYI DVOBOI is held according to the competition rules of the World Federation of Kozatskyi Dvoboi (WCFF)
December 17, 2014.
Arrival of teams, registration, accommodation in hotels of the city of Kharkiv
December 18, 2014.
Credentials commission.
09:00 – 13:00 Weigh-in of participants at the address: Kharkiv, 90/1 Kotlova St. Meeting of team representatives, judges’ seminar, certification of judges, according to program sections, drawing of lots.
15:00 Official opening of the competitions. Start of competitions. Preliminary bouts to the finals;
December 19, 2014.
20:00 – 18:00 Final performances in all sections except «Herts 3» (MMA);
19:00 Final performances in the «Herts 3» section (MMA);
20:00 awarding of winners;
December 20, 2014. — departure of teams.
3. Organization and Management of the Competitions.
The WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN KOZATSKYI DVOBOI is held by: the World Federation of Kozatskyi Dvoboi (hereinafter — WCFF) and its official member and representative in Ukraine — NGO «Ukrainian Sports Federation Kozatskyi Dvoboi» (hereinafter — USFKD). The direct conduct of the competitions is entrusted to the WCFF and the chief judges’ panel approved by the WCFF Presidium.
4. Preparation of Sports Facilities.
In accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of December 18, 1998 «On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for holding mass sports and cultural-entertainment events»:
• preparation of sports facilities is the responsibility of their owners;
• control over the preparation of sports facilities and ensuring the safety of competitions is carried out by a working commission formed by the relevant regional administration.
The owner of the sports facility is obliged no less than 4 hours before the start of the competition to submit an act to the working commission on the readiness of the facility for the competition.
Failure to comply with the requirements provided for in this paragraph, which caused the occurrence of emergency circumstances during the competition, entails liability.
5. Competition Participants.
Athletes admitted to the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN KOZATSKYI DVOBOI are members of regional national teams of Ukraine, formed based on the results of qualifying regional competitions, and national teams of countries based on preliminary applications submitted by December 5, 2014, to the WCFF address (vladibor_@rambler.ru).
5.2. Every team whose composition exceeds 10 athletes must have one judge at the expense of the sending organization.
5.3. All judges must have accident insurance and a medical certificate.
5.4. Competitions are held according to the current international rules for Kozatskyi Dvoboi competitions approved by the Federation and the Ministry.
5.5. All participants must have: passport, accident insurance; Masters of Sport, Masters of Sport of International Class, Honored Masters of Sport of Ukraine must have certificates;
5.6. Competitions are held in the following age groups, weight categories and sections:
Odnotan (free and formal technical complexes);
Tan dvoboi (technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, selfdefense);
Zabava 1 (hand-to-hand combat with limited dosed contact, analog of semi-contact);
Bornya 1 (hand-to-hand combat with limited light contact, analog of light-contact);
Bornya 2 (hand-to-hand combat with basic light contact, analog of kick-light with low kicks and throws)
Herts 1 (hand-to-hand combat with basic real contact, full-contact);
Herts 2 (hand-to-hand combat with basic real contact, analog of K-1 with throws);
Herts 3 (hand-to-hand combat with free real contact, analog of MMA, mix-fight), only adult men and women.

6. Financial Conditions of the Competitions
Partial costs for the organization and conduct of the competitions are provided through the charitable fund and other extra-budgetary income raised by the Federation, charitable contributions, entry fees of participants.
Entry fee for each participant (USFKD member) is the equivalent of 20 euros per section.
7. Awarding
Athletes who took:
1st places — are awarded medals and diplomas of the corresponding grades.
2nd and 3rd places — are awarded medals and diplomas of the corresponding grades.
8. Sports Uniform and Equipment
Uniform — the sports uniform of participants must correspond to the traditional uniform of Kozatskyi Dvoboi (sharovary, vyshyvanka, or club T-shirt).
Sports gear and equipment — mouthguard, groin cup in jockstrap, hand wraps, hand gloves (10 ounces); for the Herts and Bornya 2 sections — open gloves for mixed martial arts (6 ounces «maxmix»), foot pads, shin guards and helmet; for women and girls chest protection.
9. Applications
Preliminary applications for team participation in the competitions are added by December 5, 2014, to the email vladibor_@rambler.ru
• Each team representative must submit to the credentials commission a nominal application for athletes participating in the competitions, of the established form, with all items filled in, certified by structural units of regional departments of physical culture and sports.
• Nominal applications must be certified by a doctor of a sports medicine clinic, by the sending organization.
Passports, classification books of athletes, accident insurance policies are submitted to the credentials commission of the competitions on the day of arrival.
