On December 17, 2013, in the Sviatoshynskyi District of Kyiv, at the “Desantnyk” Center, a sports and martial arts celebration took place — the official ceremony for opening a new hall for mixed martial arts (MMA) and the Ukrainian national combat art “Kozatskyi Dvobiy”.
The celebration was attended by:
— Rezazade Ali Reza — First Vice President of the Ukrainian Sports Federation “Kozatskyi Dvobiy”;
— Kychyhyn Volodymyr Mykolaiovych — Director of the “Desantnyk” Center;
— Kryvosheeva Olha Viktorivna — representative of the district education administration;
— administration, instructors, athletes and cadets of the Center.
After the ceremonial ribbon cutting, all attendees proceeded to the new, bright martial arts hall. Following the National Anthem of Ukraine, welcoming remarks were delivered by Kychyhyn Volodymyr Mykolaiovych and Rezazade Ali Reza. With words of gratitude for assistance in preparing the hall, the head of the mixed martial arts (MMA) and “Kozatskyi Dvobiy” section of the Center, Honored Coach of Ukraine — Radionov Volodymyr Anatoliyovych, took the floor. He thanked the Center’s administration for their support and provision of premises for organizing training activities, and also expressed gratitude to his friends and partners: Vice President of the Mixed Martial Arts Federation of Ukraine — Rozhkevych Oleh Hennadiyovych, Rezazade Ali Reza, Director of the company “BOYKO-SPORT” — Boyko Oleksandr Volodymyrovych, who helped equip the hall with modern sports equipment for mixed martial arts.
After the ceremonial remarks, the trainees of the “Desantnyk” sports sections demonstrated their combat skills before the guests: MMA and “Kozatskyi Dvobiy” (head coach Radionov V.A.), Muay Thai (head coach Hlinskyi O.A.), Hand-to-Hand Combat (head coach Ilchenko S.S.)
After the demonstrations, all those interested had the opportunity to exchange impressions in the cozy reception room of the Center, where guests were offered hot tea and refreshments, and photo materials from the first in history World Championship in the Ukrainian national mixed martial art “Kozatskyi Dvobiy”, which took place in Kharkiv on December 8, 2013, were also presented.
