WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN COSSACK FIGHT
(Adults, Juniors, Youths, Children)
1. Purpose and Objectives.
The WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN COSSACK FIGHT is held for the purpose of:
— popularization and further development of the Ukrainian national sport “Cossack Fight” in Ukraine and the world;
— improving the level of athletes and referees of the World Federation of Cossack Fight (WCFF);
— development of friendly relations between athletes and public organizations of various countries;
— further improvement of educational and sports work in sports schools and sports clubs at places of residence;
— achievement of sports titles in Cossack Fight in accordance with the unified sports classification of Ukraine;
2. Dates, Venue and Competition Program.
The WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN COSSACK FIGHT is held in accordance with the competition rules of the World Federation of Cossack Fight (WCFF)

Arrival of teams, registration, accommodation in hotels in Kharkiv city
December 18, 2014
Credentials Commission.
09:00 – 13:00 Weigh-in of participants at the address: Kharkiv city, Kotlova Street, 90/1. Team representatives meeting, referees seminar, referee certification, according to program sections, drawing of lots.
15:00 Official opening of the championship. Start of competition. Preliminary matches leading to finals;
December 19, 2014
09:00 – 18:00 Finals in all sections except “Hertz-3” (MMA);
19:00 Finals in section “Hertz-3” (MMA);
20:00 Awarding of winners;
December 20, 2014 – Departure of teams.
3. Organization and Management of the Championship.
The WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN COSSACK FIGHT is held by: the World Federation of Cossack Fight (hereinafter – WFCF) and its official member and representative in Ukraine – the NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation ‘Cossack Fight’” (hereinafter – USFFK). The direct conduct of the championship is the responsibility of the WFCF and the main referees’ board approved by the Presidency of the WFCF.
4. Preparation of Sports Facilities.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of December 18, 1998 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for holding mass sports and cultural events”:
• preparation of sports facilities is the responsibility of their owners;
• control over the preparation of sports facilities and ensuring the safety of the championship is exercised by a working committee formed by the appropriate regional administration.
The owner of a sports facility must submit a report to the working committee at least 4 hours before the start of the championship confirming the facility’s readiness to host the event.
Failure to comply with the requirements of this section that caused emergency circumstances during the championship entails liability.
5. Championship Participants.
The WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN COSSACK FIGHT is open to athletes from regional teams of Ukraine, formed based on the results of selection regional championships, national teams based on applications submitted by December 5, 2014, to the address of the WFCF (vladibor_@rambler.ru).
5.2. Each team with a roster exceeding 10 athletes must have one referee at the expense of the sending organization.
5.3. All referees must have an accident insurance policy and a medical certificate.
5.4. The championship is conducted in accordance with the current international rules of Cossack Fight, approved by the Federation and the Ministry.
5.5. All participants must have: a passport, accident insurance policy; MS, MSMK, and ZMSU holders must have certificates;
5.6. The championship is held in the following age groups, weight categories and sections:
Hotan (free and formal technical complexes);
Tan-duel (technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, self-defense);
Zabava-1 (open hand with controlled touch, limited, analogous to semi-contact);
Bornia-1 (open hand with light touch, limited, analogous to light contact);
Bornia-2 (open hand with light touch, main, analogous to kicklight with lowkick and throws)
Hertz-1 (open hand with full contact, full-contact);
Hertz-2 (open hand with full contact, main, analogous to K-1 with throws);
Hertz-3 (open hand with full contact, free style, analogous to MMA, mixed fight), adults only (men and women).

6. Financial Conditions.
Partial costs of organizing and conducting the championship are provided by charitable funds and other extra-budgetary sources attracted by the Federation, charitable contributions, and entry fees from participants.
Entry fee from each participant (member of USFFK) is equivalent to EUR 20 per section.
7. Awards
Athletes who placed:
1st place — are awarded medals and diplomas of the corresponding degrees.
2nd – 3rd place — are awarded medals and diplomas of the corresponding degrees.
8. Sports Attire and Equipment
Sports Attire – participants’ sports uniforms must correspond to the traditional Cossack Fight attire (cossack trousers, embroidered shirt, or club t-shirt).
Sports Equipment and Protective Gear – mouthguard, groin protector in a supporter, hand wraps, boxing gloves on hands (10 oz), for Hertz and Bornia-2 sections open gloves for mixed martial arts (6 oz “maxmix”), foot protection, shin guards and helmet, for women and girls chest protector.
9. Applications
Preliminary applications for team participation must be submitted by December 5, 2014, to the e-mail address vladibor_@rambler.ru
• Each team representative must submit to the Credentials Commission a roster of athletes participating in the championship, in the established format, with all items completed, certified by structural subdivisions of regional sports and physical education departments.
• Rosters must be certified by a physician of the sports medicine clinic and the sending organization.
Passports, sports classification books of athletes, and insurance policies must be submitted to the Credentials Commission on the day of arrival.
