The Open European Cup is held in accordance with the unified WCFF calendar plan.
Dates: April 27-29, 2013.
Venue: Ukraine, Kharkiv, Kotlova Street, 90/1
- 1. Objectives and goals.
- Development and promotion of Ukrainian national martial arts and the sport “Kozatskyi Biy” in the World;
- Promotion of a healthy lifestyle under the motto “Peace for the Planet’s Children – A World Without Drugs”
- Improving the skill level of athletes;
- Development and strengthening of friendly relations between sports organizations of all countries in the World;
- 2. Dates and venue.
The tournament will be held from April 27-29, 2013 in Kharkiv (Ukraine), at: Kotlova Street, 90/1, Lokomotiv Sports Palace named after G.N. Kirpa.
April 27 – arrival day, registration and weigh-in of athletes from 10:00 to 18:00 at: Kotlova Street, 90/1.

9:00 – qualifying bouts;
16:00 – final bouts, awards ceremony;
April 29 – teams departure.
- 3. Tournament management.
General management of the tournament organization is undertaken by the World Federation “Kozatskyi Biy” (WCFF), with direct conduct of the tournament entrusted to the chief judging panel and the organizing committee.
- 4. Rules and judging panel.
The tournament is conducted in accordance with the current international rules for “Kozatskyi Biy” (WCFF). The judging panel is formed from judges recommended by participating teams. All judges are required to attend the seminar on April 27 and will be approved to work in the tournament based on the results.
- 5. Tournament program and participants.
Teams from regions, cities and clubs of CIS countries and the World are permitted to compete.
The tournament is held in the following categories:
“Zabava” – controlled contact with stopping (similar to semi-contact);
“Bornia -1” – controlled contact (light contact) without stopping;
“Bornia -2” – controlled contact (kick-light) without stopping, low kicks and clinch throws permitted;
“Herts -1” – full contact (similar to full contact);
“Herts -2” – full contact, low kicks, knee strikes, clinch throws permitted (shoot-fighting);
“Herts -3” – full contact (similar to MMA, mixed fight);
“Odnotan” – solo compositions;
“Tan dvobyy” – self-defense

- 6. Tournament financing.
All expenses related to the conduct of the tournament are covered by the organizers and charitable start fees (equivalent to 20 euros per participant).
Expenses related to travel, accommodation and meals for participants, coaches and judges are borne by the sending organizations.
- 7. Awards for participants.
Athletes who took 1st place are awarded diplomas and medals. Athletes who took 2nd place – diplomas and medals, 3rd place – diplomas and medals.
The best athletes of the tournament will be awarded valuable prizes.
- 8. Entries.
Tournament participants must have with them a document confirming identity, a fighter’s passport, an insurance policy, official entry forms signed by a physician from a sports medicine clinic, certified with seals, which are submitted to the credentials commission on arrival day.
