for holding the Championship of Ukraine in Kozatskyi Dvoboi
1. Goals and Objectives
The Championship of Ukraine in Kozatskyi Dvoboi (hereinafter − the Championship of Ukraine) is held with the aim of:
– broad involvement of the population in physical culture and sports;
– further development of the sport and its popularization in the country;
– improving the level of mastery of athletes;
– selecting stronger athletes for the Ukrainian national team to participate in international competitions;
– activating training and educational work in sports organizations;
– summarizing the work in sports organizations;
– fulfilling sports titles in Kozatskyi Dvoboi according to the unified sports classification of Ukraine;
2. Date and venue of the competition
The Championship of Ukraine is held on 6-7 November 2015 in Kharkiv.

3. Organization and management of the competition
The Ministry of Youth and Sport and the Ukrainian Sports Federation “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” (hereinafter – the Federation) are responsible for organizing and conducting the competition.
Responsibility for the preparation and direct conduct of the Championship of Ukraine is entrusted to the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of the Kharkiv Oblast State Administration and the head referee panel formed by the Federation, the composition of which is approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sport
4. Competition participants
The Championship of Ukraine is open to the national teams of the AR of Crimea, oblasts and the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol.
Age categories of participants:
– younger youths (boys* or girls*) – 7-9, 10-12 years,
– older youths (teenagers*) – 13-15 years,
– juniors (young men*) – 16-18 years,
– adults (men* or women*) – over 19 years.
The uniform of the participants is in accordance with the requirements of the Rules of Sports Competitions in Kozatskyi Dvoboi (hereinafter − the Rules).
Level of admission to the competition (according to classification):
Adults – no lower than 1st category.
5. Character of the event
The competition is individual and is held in accordance with the Rules.
6. Competition program
Championship of Ukraine – Kharkiv, 6-7 November 2015.

Competition program:
06 November 2015 – arrival of teams and referees;
14:00-18:00 – weigh-in, work of the credentials commission;
18:00-19:00 – formation of referee brigades;
19:00 – meeting of team representatives and referees, draw.
07 November 2015 – day of competition.
09:00-13:00 – individual preliminary bouts in the hand-to-hand combat divisions;
13:00-13:30 – official opening of the competition;
13:30-16:00 – semifinal bouts, performances in the “Odnotan”, “Tan dvoboi” divisions;
16:00-18:00 – final bouts;
18:00-19:00 – awarding of winners, closing of the competition, summarizing the results, departure of teams.
The competition program in Kozatskyi Dvoboi includes formal technical complexes “Odnotan”, “Tan dvoboi” and free-fight divisions (hand-to-hand combat): “Zabava”, “Bornya”, “Herts” which are held in weight categories.

Tan dvoboi(technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, selfdefense);
Zabava-1(hand-to-hand combat with dosed contact, limited, analog of semi-contact);
Bornya-1(hand-to-hand combat with light contact, limited, analog of light-contact);
Bornya-2 (hand-to-hand combat with light contact, basic, analog of kick-light with low kicks and throws)
Bornya-3 (hand-to-hand combat with light contact, free, analog of MMALight)
Herts-1 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact, basic, full-contact);
Herts-2 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact, basic, analog of K-1 with throws);
Herts-3 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact, free, MMA)

7. Safety and preparation of competition venues
The preparation of competition venues is carried out in accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of 18 December 1998 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for holding mass sports and cultural-entertainment events”.
8. Conditions for determining placings and awarding winners and prize-winners
Athletes who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in the individual standings at the Cup of Ukraine are awarded with medals and diplomas of the Federation of the corresponding degrees.
9. Conditions for financing the event and material support of participants
Expenses for the organization and conduct of the Championship of Ukraine are covered by the Federation and charitable entry fees. Entry fee for participation – UAH 180.
Travel expenses of competition participants are covered by the sending organizations.
10. Deadlines and procedure for submitting applications for participation in the Championship of Ukraine
Preliminary team applications for participation in the Championship of Ukraine are sent no later than 7 days before the start of the competition to the email address: vladibor_@rambler.ru

For participation in the competition, the following are submitted to the credentials commission on the day of arrival: name applications certified with the seal of the organization and a doctor, a copy of the passport, classification books, insurance policies valid for the time of the competition. Teams and participants who have confirmed their participation within the established time are admitted to the competition.
