On August 20-23, the “Open Cup of Ukraine” in the Ukrainian national mixed martial arts sport – “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” – will be held in Feodosia. In addition to Ukrainian teams, teams from Russia and Azerbaijan will take part in the competition. We present the regulations of the competition:

1. Aims and objectives.
• Development and promotion of the Ukrainian national martial art, the sport of “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” and MMA in the World;
• Promotion of a healthy lifestyle under the slogan “To the children of the planet — A world without drugs”
• Raising the level of mastery of athletes;
• Development and strengthening of friendly relations between sports organizations of all countries of the World;
2. Dates and venue.
The competition will be held from August 20 to 23, 2013 in the city of Feodosia (Ukraine, AR of Crimea)
August 20 – arrival day, registration and weigh-in of athletes from 12:00 to 18:00 at: Simferopol Highway, 27.

09:00 – qualifying bouts;
12:00 – official opening, continuation of qualifying bouts;
August 22
09:00 – semifinal bouts in all sections, finals, awards ceremony
August 23 – departure of teams.
3. Management of the competition.
General management of the organization of the competition is undertaken by the World Federation of “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” (WCFF) and the MMA Federation of Ukraine. The direct conduct of the tournament is entrusted to the main referee panel and the organizing committee of the competition.
4. Competition rules and referee panel.
The competition is held in accordance with the current international rules of “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” (WCFF). The referee panel is formed from referees recommended by the participating teams. All referees must pass the seminar on August 20 and based on its results will be allowed to work at the competition.
5. Competition program and participants.
Teams of regions, cities and clubs of CIS countries and the World are allowed to compete.
The competition is held in the following sections:
“Zabava” — dosed contact with stop (analogue of semi-contact);
“Bornya-2” — dosed contact (kick-light) without stop, low-kick and throws in the clinch are allowed;
“Herts-2” — full contact, low-kick, knee strike, throws in the clinch are allowed (shoot-fighting, K-1);
“Herts-3” — (MMA);
“Odnotan” — solo forms;
“Tan dvoboi” — self-defense

6. Financing of the competition.
All expenses related to holding the competition are covered by the organizers and charitable entry fees (entry fee 100 UAH).
Expenses related to travel, accommodation and meals of participants, coaches, referees are borne by the sending organizations.
7. Awarding of participants.
Athletes who took 1st places are awarded with diplomas and medals. Athletes who took 2nd places — with diplomas and medals, 3rd places — with diplomas and medals.
The best athletes of the competition will be awarded valuable prizes.
The winning team is awarded a cup.
8. Applications.
Participants of the competition must have with them an identification document, fighter passport, insurance policy, named applications signed by a doctor of the medical-sports dispensary, certified by seals, which are submitted to the mandate commission on the day of arrival.
