for the
International Martial Arts Festival
Within the framework of the festival:
MMA World Cup (WMMAF)
European Championship in Kozatskyi Dvoboi (WCFF)
(adults, juniors, youth, children)
April 14-18, 2015

1. Goals and objectives.
The International Martial Arts Festival is held with the aim of:
— popularization and further development of MMA and the sport “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” in Ukraine and worldwide;
— raising the level of athletes and referees;
— further improvement of training and sports work in sports schools, sports clubs, sections at the place of residence;
— selection of promising athletes for forming the Ukrainian national team in Kozatskyi Dvoboi and MMA for participation in international competitions;
— fulfillment of sports titles in Kozatskyi Dvoboi according to the Unified Sports Classification of Ukraine;
2. Dates, venue and competition program.
The International Martial Arts Festival is held according to the competition rules of the World MMA Federation (WMMAF) and the World Cossack Fight Federation (WCFF) respectively.
April 14 – team arrival day;
April 15 – athlete registration day from 16:00 to 20:00, address: Lviv, Melnyka Street, 18
Referee seminar – from 18:00 to 19:00; meeting of representatives and draw – from 18:00 to 19:00;
April 16 –
10:00 start of competitions, preliminary bouts;
18:00 Official opening ceremony of the competition, continuation of preliminary bouts;
April 17 –
10:00 final bouts among children and juniors, awarding of winners;
19:00 gala program, MMA-Elite final bouts, awarding of winners.
April 18 – Team departure
3. Organization and management of the competitions.
The MMA World Cup is held by: the World MMA Federation and the MMA Federation of Ukraine.
The European Championship in Kozatskyi Dvoboi is held by: the World Cossack Fight Federation (hereinafter WCFF) and the NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation Kozatskyi Dvoboi” (hereinafter USFKB). The direct conduct of the competition is entrusted to WCFF and the main referee board approved by the Presidium of WCFF.
4. Preparation of sports facilities.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of December 18, 1998 “On the procedure for the preparation of sports facilities and other specially designated places for holding mass sports and cultural-entertainment events”:
• preparation of sports facilities is entrusted to their owners;
• control over the preparation of sports facilities and ensuring the safety of the competition is carried out by a working commission formed by the respective regional administration.
The owner of a sports facility, no later than 4 hours before the start of the competition, must submit to the working commission an act on the readiness of the facility to hold the competition.
Failure to comply with the requirements set forth in this clause, which has caused emergencies during the competition, entails responsibility.
5. Competition participants.
Athletes – national teams of countries are admitted to the European Championship in Kozatskyi Dvoboi, on the basis of preliminary applications submitted by April 5, 2015, to WCFF (vladibor_@rambler.ru). National teams are admitted to the MMA World Cup on the basis of preliminary applications submitted by April 5, 2015, to egenia@voliacable.com
5.2. Each team with more than 10 athletes must have one referee at the expense of the sending organization.
5.3. All referees must have accident insurance and a medical certificate.
5.4. Competitions are held according to the current international Kozatskyi Dvoboi and MMA competition rules, approved by the Federations and the Ministry.
5.5. All participants must have: passport, accident insurance, MS, MSIC, HMSU must have a certificate;
5.6. Competitions are held in the following age groups, weight categories and sections:

Odnotan (free and formal technical complexes);
Tan-dvoboi (technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques);
Zabava-1 (hand-to-hand with dosed touch limited, analog of semi-contact);
Bornya-1 (hand-to-hand with light touch limited, analog of light-contact);
Bornya-2 (hand-to-hand with light touch main, analog of kick-light with low kick and throws)
Bornya-3 (according to age groups and weight categories of MMA Light)
Herts-1 (hand-to-hand with real touch main, full-contact);
Herts-2 (hand-to-hand with real touch main, analog of K-1 with throws);
Herts-3 (according to age groups and weight categories of MMA Elites)

6. Financial conditions for the competition
Partial expenses for organizing and conducting the competition are provided through a charitable fund and other off-budget revenues raised by the Federations, charitable contributions, and participant entry fees.
Charitable entry fee for Ukrainian athletes (USFKB members) is:
150 UAH for juniors, youth, children.
350 UAH for adults.
Charitable entry fee for other participants is the equivalent of 50 euros.
7. Awards
Athletes who took:
I places — are awarded with medals and diplomas of respective degrees.
II — III places — are awarded with medals and diplomas of respective degrees.
8. Sports uniform and equipment
Kozatskyi Dvoboi attire – the sports uniform of participants must correspond to the traditional form of Kozatskyi Dvoboi (sharovary trousers, vyshyvanka shirt, or club T-shirt).
Sports gear and protective equipment – mouthguard, groin protector in bandage, hand wraps, hand gloves (10 oz), for sections Herts, Bornya-2 open gloves for mixed martial arts (6 oz “maxmix”), foot pads, shin protection and helmet, for women and girls chest protection.
MMA attire – the sports uniform and gear of participants must correspond to the traditional form of MMA (WMMAF).
9. Applications
Preliminary applications for teams to participate in the competition are submitted by April 5, 2015 to the email vladibor_@rambler.ru and egenia@voliacable.com
• Each team representative must submit to the credentials commission a named application for athletes participating in the competition, of the established sample, with all items filled in, certified by structural subdivisions of regional administrations of physical culture and sports.
• Named applications must be certified by a doctor of the sports medicine dispensary, by the sending organization.
Passports, athlete classification books, insurance policies are submitted to the competition credentials commission on the day of arrival.
