“KOZATSKA ZVYTIAHA”

(qualifying tournament for the World Cup, Bulgaria)

1. Goals and Objectives.

The All-Ukrainian Tournament in Kozatskyi Dvoboi “KOZATSKA ZVYTIAHA” is held with the aim of:

– popularization and further development of the sport “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” in Ukraine;

– improving the level of athletes and judges;

– further improvement of educational and sports work in DYUSSH, KDYUSSH, sports clubs, sections at the place of residence;

– selection of promising athletes for the formation of the national team of Ukraine in Kozatskyi Dvoboi for participation in the World Cup (Bulgaria);

– fulfillment of sports titles in Kozatskyi Dvoboi according to the unified sports classification of Ukraine;

2. Term, venue and program of competitions.

The All-Ukrainian Tournament in Kozatskyi Dvoboi “KOZATSKA ZVYTIAHA”

is held according to the competition rules of the World Federation of Kozatskyi Dvoboi (WCFF)

17 May – day of athletes’ registration from 16:00 to 20:00 at the address: Kyiv, Verkhnokliuchova St., 1/26

Judges’ seminar – from 18:00 to 19:00; meeting of representatives and drawing – from 18:00 to 19:00;

18 May (Kyiv, Verkhnokliuchova St., 1/26)

10:00 official opening, start of competitions, qualifying bouts;

20:00final bouts in “Herts-3” (MMA).

3. Organization and management of the competition.

The All-Ukrainian Tournament in Kozatskyi Dvoboi “KOZATSKA ZVYTIAHA” is held by: the World Federation of Kozatskyi Dvoboi (hereinafter – WFKB) and the NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation Kozatskyi Dvoboi”. The direct conduct of the competition is entrusted to WFKB and the main judges’ panel, approved by the Presidium of WFKB.

4. Preparation of sports facilities.

In accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of 18 December 1998 “On the procedure for the preparation of sports facilities and other specially designated places for mass sports and cultural events”:

¨ preparation of sports facilities is entrusted to their owners;

¨ control over the preparation of sports facilities and ensuring the safety of competitions is carried out by a working commission formed by the relevant regional administration.

The owner of the sports facility, no later than 4 hours before the start of the competition, must submit an act to the working commission on the readiness of the facility for the competition.

Failure to comply with the requirements provided for in this paragraph, which caused emergency circumstances during the competition, entails liability.

5. Participants.

Athletes – members of regional teams of Ukraine, formed based on the results of qualifying regional competitions, are admitted to the All-Ukrainian Tournament in Kozatskyi Dvoboi “KOZATSKA ZVYTIAHA” on the basis of preliminary applications submitted by 15 May 2014, to the WFKB address (vladibor_@rambler.ru).

5.2. Each team with more than 10 athletes must have one judge at the expense of the sending organization.

5.3. All judges must have an accident insurance policy and a medical certificate.

5.4. Competitions are held according to the current international rules of competition in Kozatskyi Dvoboi, approved by the Federation and the Ministry.

5.5. All participants must have: a passport, accident insurance policy; MS, MSMK, ZMSU must have certificates;

5.6. Competitions are held in the following age groups, weight categories and sections:

Odnotan(free and formal technical complexes);

Tan dvoboi(technical duels, demonstration of self-defense techniques, self-defense);

Zabava-1(hand-to-hand combat with limited dosed contact, analog of semi-contact);

Bornya-1(hand-to-hand combat with limited light contact, analog of light-contact);

Bornya-2 (hand-to-hand combat with light contact main, analog of kick-light with low-kick and throws)

Herts-1 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact main, full contact);

Herts-2 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact main, analog of K-1 with throws);

Herts-3 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact free, analog of MMA, mix-fight), only adult men and women.

6. Financial conditions for holding competitions

Partial expenses for organizing and conducting the competition are provided at the expense of a charitable fund and other non-budgetary funds and charitable contributions attracted by the Federation.

There is no entry fee.

7. Awards

Athletes who took:

1st place – are awarded medals and diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

2nd – 3rd places – are awarded medals and diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

All winners among adults, as well as the best athletes among juniors and youth, will be awarded a ticket to the World Cup in Kozatskyi Dvoboi and MMA (Bulgaria, Varna, 20-30 June)

8. Sports uniform and equipment

Uniform – the sports uniform of the participants must correspond to the traditional form of Kozatskyi Dvoboi, or one of the most well-known directions of martial arts (karate, kickboxing, taekwondo, kung fu, etc.).

Sports equipment and protective gear – mouth guard, groin shell in a bandage, bandages, hand gloves (10 oz), for Herts and Bornya-2 open gloves for mixed martial arts (6 oz “maxmix”), foot pads, shin protection and helmet, for women and girls chest protection.

9. Applications

Preliminary applications for teams to participate in the competition are submitted by 15 May 2014 to the e-mail vladibor_@rambler.ru

  • Each team representative must provide the mandate commission with a personal application for athletes participating in the competition, of the established form, with all items filled in, certified by the structural divisions of the regional departments of physical culture and sports.
  • Personal applications must be certified by a doctor of the sports medical dispensary and by the sending organization.

Passports, athletes’ classification books, insurance policy are submitted to the competition mandate commission on the day of arrival.
