1. Aims and objectives.
The All-Ukrainian Tournament in Cossack Fight “Cup of the Cossack Army of Zaporizhzhia” “United Ukraine” with the support of the International Charitable Foundation “Our Future” and Oleksandr Valentynovych Ilnytskyi is held with the aim of:
— promoting and further developing the sport of “Cossack Fight” in Ukraine and worldwide;
— improving the level of athletes and referees;
— continuing to improve educational and sports work in youth sports schools, sports clubs, and community sections;
— selecting promising athletes for the formation of Ukraine’s national Cossack Fight team to participate in the World Cup (Bulgaria);
— awarding sports titles in Cossack Fight in accordance with Ukraine’s unified sports classification;
2. Date, venue, and competition program.
The All-Ukrainian Tournament in Cossack Fight “Cup of the Cossack Army of Zaporizhzhia” “United Ukraine” with the support of the International Charitable Foundation “Our Future” and Oleksandr Valentynovych Ilnytskyi
is conducted in accordance with the competition rules of the World Federation of Cossack Fight.
May 9 – athlete registration day from 10:00 to 17:00 at the address: Pershhotravensk, Komsomolska Street, 40 (Youth Sports School “Shakhtar”)
Referees’ seminar – 17:00 to 18:00; representatives’ meeting and draw – 18:00 to 19:00;
May 10 – opening ceremony, start of competitions, preliminary bouts;
May 10 — final bouts, awarding of winners
3. Organization and management of competitions.

Chief organizer of competitions: Oleksandr Valentynovych Ilnytskyi.
The tournament is conducted by: the World Federation of Cossack Fight (hereinafter – WFCF) and the NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation ‘Cossack Fight’”. Direct conduct of competitions is entrusted to WFCF and the main referee board approved by WFCF Presidency.
4. Preparation of sports facilities.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of December 18, 1998 “On the procedure for preparation of sports facilities and other specially designated places for holding mass sports and cultural-entertainment events”:
• preparation of sports facilities is the responsibility of their owners;
• control over the preparation of sports facilities and ensuring the safety of competitions is carried out by a working commission established by the relevant regional administration.
The owner of a sports facility must submit a certificate to the working commission at least 4 hours before the start of competitions confirming the facility’s readiness for competitions.
Failure to meet the requirements of this section that resulted in emergencies during competitions entails liability.
5. Competition participants.
The All-Ukrainian Tournament in Cossack Fight “Cup of the Cossack Army of Zaporizhzhia” “United Ukraine” with the support of the International Charitable Foundation “Our Future” and Oleksandr Valentynovych Ilnytskyi
admits athletes – from national teams of Ukrainian regions as well as from other countries, formed based on the results of qualifying regional competitions, on the basis of previously submitted applications by May 5, 2014, to the address of WFCF Seybald@yandex.ru.
5.2. Each team whose composition exceeds 10 athletes must have one referee at the expense of the sending organization.
5.3. All referees must have accident insurance and a medical certificate.
5.4. Competitions are conducted in accordance with the current international rules for Cossack Fight competitions approved by the Federation and Ministry.
5.5. All participants must have: passport, accident insurance, and athletes with MS, MSUK, ZMSU classifications must have certificates;
5.6. Competitions are held in the following age groups, weight categories, and divisions:
Form (free and formal technical complexes);
Form-Bout (technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, self-defense);
Play-1 (unarmed combat with measured limited touch, analogue of semi-contact);
Grapple-1 (unarmed combat with light limited touch, analogue of light-contact);
Grapple-2 (unarmed combat with light main touch, analogue of kick-light with low kicks and throws);
Hertz-2 (unarmed combat with true main touch, analogue of K-1);
Hertz-3 (unarmed combat with true free touch, analogue of MMA, mixed-fight), adults only (men and women).

6. Financial conditions of competition conduct
Partial expenses for organizing and conducting competitions are provided at the expense of the International Charitable Foundation “Our Future” and other extra-budgetary funds attracted by the Federation, charitable contributions, and entry fees from participants (80 UAH).
Expenses for travel in both directions, accommodation, meals, salary preservation, daily allowances for coaches, team representatives, and participants are provided by the sending organizations.
7. Awards
Athletes who placed:
I – III – are awarded medals and diplomas of corresponding degrees, a commemorative pennant.
8. Sports attire and equipment
Attire – participants’ sports clothing must correspond to the traditional Cossack Fight uniform or one of the most well-known martial arts styles (karate, kickboxing, taekwondo, kung fu, etc.).
Sports equipment and protective gear – mouthguard, groin shell in bandage, hand wraps, hand gloves (10 oz), for Hertz, Grapple-2 divisions open gloves for mixed martial arts (6 oz “maxmix”), foot protection, shin and head protection, and for women and girls, chest protection.
9. Applications
Preliminary applications for team participation in competitions are submitted by May 5, 2014, to the email seybald@yandex.ru
• Each team representative must submit to the credentials commission a list of athletes participating in competitions of the established form, with all points completed, certified by the structural divisions of regional departments of physical culture and sports.
• Team lists must be certified by a doctor of a sports medicine facility and the sending organization.
Passports, athletes’ classification books, and accident insurance are submitted to the competition credentials commission on the day of arrival.
