1. Goals and objectives.
The All-Ukrainian Tournament in Kozatskyi Dvoboi “Cup of the Kadak Zaporizhian Army” “United Ukraine” supported by the International Charitable Fund “Our Future” and Oleksandr Valentynovych Ilnytskyi is held with the goal of:
— popularization and further development of the sport “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” in Ukraine and worldwide;
— raising the level of athletes and referees;
— further improvement of training and sports work in youth sports schools, sports clubs and sections;
— selection of promising athletes to form the Ukrainian national team in Kozatskyi Dvoboi for participation in the World Cup (Bulgaria);
— fulfilling sports titles in Kozatskyi Dvoboi according to the unified sports classification of Ukraine.
2. Date, venue and competition program.
The All-Ukrainian Tournament is held under the competition rules of the World Cossack Fight Federation (WCFF).
May 9 — athlete registration day, from 10:00 to 17:00 at: Pershotravensk, Komsomolska Street 40 (Youth Sports School “Shakhtar”).
Referees’ seminar — from 17:00 to 18:00; representatives’ meeting and draw — from 18:00 to 19:00.
May 10 — official opening, start of the competition, qualifying bouts.
May 10 — final bouts, awarding of winners.
3. Organization and leadership.
Head organizer: Oleksandr Valentynovych Ilnytskyi.
The competition is organized by the World Cossack Fight Federation (WCFF) and NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation Kozatskyi Dvoboi”. Direct conduct of the competition is entrusted to the WCFF and the chief refereeing panel approved by the WCFF Presidium.
4. Preparation of sports facilities.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of December 18, 1998, on the preparation of sports facilities for mass sports and cultural events:
• preparation of sports facilities rests with their owners;
• control over preparation and ensuring competition safety is carried out by a working commission of the regional administration.
The owner of the sports facility must, no less than 4 hours before the start of the competition, submit a report to the working commission on the readiness of the facility.
5. Participants.
5.1. Admitted to the tournament are athletes of regional teams of Ukraine and other countries, formed based on regional qualification competitions, on the basis of preliminary applications sent by May 5, 2014 to WCFF email Seybald@yandex.ru.
5.2. Each team of more than 10 athletes must provide one referee at the cost of the sending organization.
5.3. All referees must have an accident insurance policy and a medical certificate.
5.4. The competition is held according to the current international rules of Kozatskyi Dvoboi, approved by the Federation and the Ministry.
5.5. All participants must have: passport, accident insurance policy; Masters of Sport, International Masters of Sport, Honored Masters of Sport of Ukraine must have their credentials.
5.6. The competition is held in the following age groups, weight categories, and sections:
Odnotan (free and formal technical complexes);
Tan dvoboi (technical bouts, self-defense techniques demonstration);
Zabava 1 (hand-to-hand with measured contact, limited, analogous to semi-contact);
Bornya 1 (hand-to-hand with light contact, limited, analogous to light-contact);
Bornya 2 (hand-to-hand with light contact, basic, analogous to kick-light with low kicks and throws);
Herts 2 (hand-to-hand with true contact, basic, analogous to K-1);
Herts 3 (hand-to-hand with true contact, free, analogous to MMA, mix-fight) — adult men and women only.

6. Financial conditions.
Partial expenses for the organization and conduct of the competition are covered by the International Charitable Fund “Our Future” and other extra-budgetary contributions, charitable donations, and starting fees (80 UAH).
Travel costs in both directions, accommodation, meals, salary, and per diem for coaches, team representatives, and participants are provided by the sending organizations.
7. Awards.
Athletes who placed:
1st — 3rd places — awarded medals and diplomas of the corresponding degrees and a commemorative pennant.
8. Sports uniform and equipment.
Uniform — participants’ sports uniform must correspond to the traditional form of Kozatskyi Dvoboi or one of the most well-known martial arts (karate, kickboxing, taekwondo, kungfu, etc.).
Sports equipment and protective gear — mouthguard, groin protector in a bandage, hand wraps, gloves (10 oz), for sections Herts and Bornya 2 open MMA gloves (6 oz “maxmix”), foot pads, shin guards and helmet; for women and girls — chest protection.
9. Applications.
Preliminary team applications must be submitted by May 5, 2014, to email seybald@yandex.ru.
• Each team representative must submit to the credentials committee a personal application of the standard form, completed in full, certified by structural divisions of regional physical culture and sports departments.
• Personal applications must be certified by a sports medicine doctor and the sending organization.
Passports, athletes’ classification books, and insurance policies are submitted to the credentials committee on the day of arrival.
