REGULATIONS
of the Cup of Ukraine and the Gesamtukrainian All-Ukrainian Tournament in Kozatskyi Dvoboi
(adults, juniors, youth, children)

Venue: Rivne, Ukraine.

1. Goals and Objectives
The Cup of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Tournament in Kozatskyi Dvoboi (adults, juniors, youth, children) is held with the purpose of:
- broad involvement of the population in physical culture and sports;
- military-patriotic and sports education of youth;
- further development of the sport and its popularization in the country;
- raising the level of athletes’ skill;
- selection of the best athletes for the national team of Ukraine for participation in international competitions;
- activation of training work in sports organizations;
- summarizing the work of sports organizations.
2. Dates and Venue of the Competitions
The Cup of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian competitions are held from 10 to 12 October 2025 in the village of Kolodenka, Rivne region, at the sports complex “Ivanhoe” at the address: Rivne region, Rivne district, Kolodenka village, Zelena Str. 53.
3. Organization and Management of the Competitions
The organization and conduct of the competitions is managed by the Ministry of Youth and Sport and the Ukrainian Sports Federation “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” (hereinafter — Federation).
Responsibility for the preparation and direct conduct of the competitions is entrusted to the Department for Youth and Sports Affairs of the Rivne Regional State Administration and to the judges’ panel formed by the Federation, whose composition is approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
4. Competition Participants
The Cup of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Tournamentare open to combined teams of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, regions, and the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol.
Team composition: unlimited.
Age categories of competition participants:
adults (men or women) — 19 years and older;
juniors — 16-18 years;
youth — 13-15 years;
youth — 10-12 years;
children — 7-9 years.
Level of admission to the competitions (according to classification):
adults — not lower than 1st rank;
juniors — not lower than 1st rank;
youth — not lower than 1st youth rank.
5. Nature of the Event
The competitions are individual-team and are held in accordance with the Rules.
6. Programme of the Competitions
The Cup of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian competitions are held from 10 to 12 October 2025 in the village of Kolodenka, Rivne region, at the sports complex “Ivanhoe” at the address: Rivne region, Rivne district, Kolodenka village, Zelena Str. 53.

14:00 – 18:00 — arrival, team registration, weigh-in of participants;
18:00 – 19:00 — meeting of the mandate commission;
19:00 – 20:00 — meeting of the judges’ panel, judges’ seminar;
20:00 – 21:00 — official drawing of lots for participants with the participation of team representatives.
11 October 2025
07:00 – 08:30 — departure of teams from hotels to the venue;
08:30 – 09:00 — arrangement of sports mats, equipment setup and judges’ meeting;
09:00 — nationwide minute of silence for the compatriots who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine;
09:00 – 13:00 — start of competitions, preliminary bouts in all divisions;
13:00 – 13:30 — solemn opening of the competitions;
13:30 – 21:00 — preliminary and final bouts in all divisions.
12 October 2025
09:00 — nationwide minute of silence for the compatriots who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine;
09:00 – 17:00 summing up of competition results, closing of competitions, departure of teams.
The Kozatskyi Dvoboi competition programme includes the following types of competitions, held in the respective age and weight categories, namely:
Odnotan (free and formal technical sets);
Tan dvoboi (technical bouts, demonstration of self-defence techniques, self-defence);
Zabava 1 (hand-to-hand with dosed touch, limited, analogue of semi-contact);
Bornya 1 (hand-to-hand with light touch, limited, analogue of light-contact);
Bornya 2 (hand-to-hand with light touch, basic, analogue of kick-light with lowkick and throws);
Bornya 3 (hand-to-hand with light touch, free, analogue of MMA Light);
Wrestling (analogue of grappling);
Herts 1 (hand-to-hand with real touch, basic, full-contact);
Herts 2 (hand-to-hand with real touch, basic, analogue of K-1 with throws);
Herts 3 (hand-to-hand with real touch, free, MMA).

7. Safety and Preparation of Competition Venues
The preparation of competition venues is carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 18 December 1998 No. 2025 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for holding mass sports and cultural-entertainment events”.
8. Sports Uniform and Equipment.
The Kozatskyi Dvoboi dress code — the sports uniform of participants must correspond to the traditional uniform of Kozatskyi Dvoboi:
- divisions “Zabava”, “Bornya 1”, “Herts 1” — sharovary trousers, vyshyvanka, or club T-shirt (division “Herts 1” — men bare-chested).
- divisions “Bornya 2”, “Bornya 3”, “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” — MMA shorts, rashguard or T-shirt (divisions “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” — men bare-chested).
Sports equipment and protective gear:
- divisions “Zabava”, “Bornya 1”, “Herts 1” — mouthguard, groin protector in bandage, hand wraps (“Herts 1” mandatory, “Zabava”, “Bornya 1” optional), gloves (up to 9 years — 8 oz, older — 10 oz), foot pads mandatory with closed heel, shin protection and helmet, for women and girls — chest protection.
- Divisions “Bornya 2”, “Bornya 3”, “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” — mouthguard, groin protector in bandage, hand wraps optional, open gloves of the brand “maXmix” licensed by WCFF — 6 oz, stockings with protection of the upper part of the foot and shin, helmet, for women and girls — chest protection. In division “Herts 3” helmet optional.
- Gloves and helmet according to corner color.
9. Conditions for Determining Champions and Awarding Winners and Prize-Winners
Athletes who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in the individual competition at the Cup of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Tournament are awarded medals and diplomas of the Federation of the respective degrees.
Teams that took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in the team competition at the Cup of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Tournament are awarded diplomas of the Federation of the respective degrees.
The team championship is determined by the sum of points scored in the above-mentioned types of competitions in the respective weight category.
10. Conditions of Financing the Event and Material Support of Participants
The costs of organizing and holding the Cup of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Tournamentare covered by off-budget funds raised by the Federation.
Expenses for the travel of competition participants: travel to the venue and back, per diem during travel, accommodation, meals, transportation of sports equipment and inventory to the venue and back, and other expenses, are covered by the sending organizations.
Starting, charitable fee — 600 UAH per division.
11. Deadlines and Procedure for Submitting Applications for Participation in the Cup of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Tournament
Preliminary applications for team participation in the Cupof Ukraine are sent no later than 10 days before the start of the competitions to the email addresses of the Federation:

For participation in the competitions, the following are submitted to the mandate commission on the day of arrival: named applications, certified with the seal and signature of the leadership of the structural divisions of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, regions, and the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol, and by a doctor of the medical-sports dispensary, passport copy, classification books, insurance policies (valid at the time of the competitions), identification code.
The competitions admit teams and participants who have confirmed their participation within the established term.
This regulation is the official call to the competitions.
