Regulations

on holding the Championship of Ukraine in Kozatskyi Dvoboi among adults and the championship of the Ukrainian Sports Federation “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” among juniors, youth and children

1. Goals and objectives

The Championship of Ukraine in Kozatskyi Dvoboi (hereinafter — Championship of Ukraine) is held with the aim of:

broad involvement of the population in physical culture and sports;

military-patriotic and sports education of youth;

further development of the sport and its popularization in the country;

raising the level of mastery of athletes;

selection of the strongest athletes for the national team of Ukraine to participate in international competitions;

activation of training work in sports organizations;

summing up the results of work in sports organizations;

fulfillment of sports titles in Kozatskyi Dvoboi according to the unified sports classification of Ukraine.

2. Dates and venue of the competition

The Championship of Ukraine is held on October 13-16, 2016 at the sports complex of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports of the National Pedagogical University named after M. P. Drahomanov at: Kyiv,
3/9 Turhenivska Street.

3. Organization and management of the competition

The management of the organization and conduct of the competition is carried out by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ukrainian Sports Federation “Kozatskyi Dvoboi”
(hereinafter — Federation).

Responsibility for the preparation and direct conduct of the Championship of Ukraine is assigned to the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Kyiv City State Administration and to the judging panel formed by the Federation, the composition of which is approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

4. Participants of the competition

National teams of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, regions, the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol are allowed to participate in the Championship of Ukraine.

Team composition: unlimited.

Age categories of competition participants:

adults (men or women) – 19 years and older.

Juniors — 16-18 years old;

Youth — 13-15 years old;

Youth — 10-12 years old;

Children — 7-9 years old.

Uniform of competition participants, according to the requirements of the Rules of sports competitions in Kozatskyi Dvoboi (hereinafter — Rules).

Level of admission to competitions (by classification):

Adults — not lower than 1st rank;

Juniors, youth, children — not lower than 2nd rank

5. Nature of the event

The competition is individual-team, held in accordance with the Rules.

6. Competition program

The Championship of Ukraine is held on October 13-16, 2016 at the sports complex of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports of the National Pedagogical University named after M. P. Drahomanov at: Kyiv,
3/9 Turhenivska Street.

Competition program:

October 13 — day of arrival of teams;

October 14— day of registration of participants:

14:00 – 18:00 team registration, weighing of participants, registration of judges;

18:00 – 19:00 – meeting of the credentials and medical commission;

19:00 – 20:00 – meeting of the Judging Panel, judges’ seminar;

20:00 – 21:00 – official draw of participants with the participation of team representatives.

October 15 — competition day:

07:00 – 08:30 – departure of teams from hotels to the venue of the competition;

08:30 – 09:00 – arrangement of sports grounds, equipment setup and judges’ meeting;

09:00 – start of competitions;

09:00 – 13:00 – preliminary performances in the “Dvoboi” sections;

13:00 – official opening of the competition;

13:30 – 21:00 – continuation of preliminary performances, semifinal Dvoboi, and final Dvoboi in all sections, awarding of competition winners.

The Kozatskyi Dvoboi competition program includes the following types of competitions, held in the corresponding age and weight categories, in particular:

Odnotan (free and formal technical complexes);

Tan dvoboi (technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, selfdefense);

Zabava-1 (hand-to-hand with restricted dosed contact, analog of semi-contact);

Bornya-1 (hand-to-hand with restricted light contact, analog of light-contact);

Bornya-2 (hand-to-hand with main light contact, analog of kick-light with low-kick and throws);

Bornya-3 (hand-to-hand with free light contact, analog of MMA Light);

Herts-1 (hand-to-hand with main real contact, full-contact);

Herts-2 (hand-to-hand with main real contact, analog of K-1 with throws);

Herts-3 (hand-to-hand with free real contact, MMA).

7. Safety and preparation of competition venues

Preparation of competition venues is carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 18, 1998 No. 2025 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for mass sports and cultural-entertainment events”.

8. Conditions for determining the championship and awarding winners and prize-winners

Athletes who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in the individual standings at the Championship of Ukraine are awarded with medals and diplomas of the Federation of the corresponding degrees.

Teams that took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in the team standings at the Championship of Ukraine are awarded with cups and diplomas of the Federation of the corresponding degrees.

The team championship is determined by the sum of points scored in the above-mentioned types of competitions in the corresponding weight category.

9. Conditions for financing the event and material support of participants

Expenses for the organization and conduct of the Championship of Ukraine are carried out at the expense of the Federation.

Participation in the competition is carried out at the expense of the sending organizations.

Starting charitable contribution 200 UAH (100 UAH second section)

10. Deadlines and procedure for submitting applications for participation in the Championship of Ukraine

Preliminary applications for team participation in the Championship of Ukraine are sent no later than 7 days before the start of the competition to the e-mail address of the Federation vladibor_@rambler.ru, contact phones: +38 097 954 52 09 — Radionov Volodymyr Anatoliyovych; organizational questions +38 067 966 44 61 — Korniyaka Oleksandr Volodymyrovych.

For participation in the competition, the credentials commission on the day of arrival must be submitted: nominal applications certified by the seal and signature of the management of the structural units of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, regions, the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol, and by a doctor of the medical-sports dispensary, a copy of the passport, classification books, insurance policies (valid for the time of the competition), identification code.

Teams and participants that have confirmed their participation within the set period are allowed to compete.

Protocols with competition results, originals of applications, chief judge’s report are submitted to the Ministry of Youth and Sports within 5 days after the end of the competition at: Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine (Department of Sports-Technical and Applied Sports), 01601, Kyiv, 42 Esplanadna Street.

Operational information on the number of participants, the number of regions and prize-winning places of teams is submitted to the Ministry of Youth and Sports on the day of the end of the competition (no later than 8.00 on October 17, 2016) to the e-mail addresses: kolodyazhnyy@sport.gov.ua and Yarik7879@i.ua.
