World Cossack Fight Championship
(adults, juniors, youths, children)

1. Purpose and objectives.
The World Cossack Fight Championship is held with the aim of:
– popularizing and further developing the sport “Cossack Fight” in Ukraine and the World;
– improving the level of athletes and judges;
– further improving educational and sports work in youth sports schools, children’s and youth sports schools, sports clubs, sections at the place of residence;
– selecting promising athletes to form the national team of Ukraine in Cossack Fight for participation in international competitions;
– fulfilling sports titles in Cossack Fight according to the unified sports classification of Ukraine;
2. Date, venue, and competition program.
The World Cossack Fight Championship is held according to the competition rules of the World Cossack Fight Federation (WCFF).
14 December – arrival day of teams;
15 December – registration day for athletes from 11.00 to 18.00 at the address: Kharkiv, Marshal Zhukov Ave., 2
Judges’ seminar – from 18.00 to 19.00; representatives’ meeting and draw – from 20.00 to 21.00;
16 December –
10:00 – start of competitions, qualifying bouts;
17:00 – Official opening ceremony of the competitions, final bouts, awarding of winners;
17 December – Departure of teams
3. Organization and management of the competition.
The World Cossack Fight Championship is carried out by: the World Cossack Fight Federation (hereinafter – WCFF) and the NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation “Cossack Fight” (hereinafter – USFCF). The direct conduct of the competition is entrusted to the WCFF and the main judging panel approved by the WCFF Presidium.
4. Preparation of sports facilities.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 dated 18 December 1998 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for holding mass sports and cultural events”:
¨ preparation of sports facilities is entrusted to their owners;
¨ control over the preparation of sports facilities and ensuring the safety of the competition is carried out by a working commission formed by the relevant regional administration.
The owner of the sports facility is obliged to submit an act to the working commission on the readiness of the facility for the competition no later than 4 hours before the start of the competition.
Failure to comply with the requirements provided for in this paragraph, which caused the occurrence of extraordinary circumstances during the competition, entails responsibility.
5. Participants of the competition.
Athletes of national teams of countries are allowed to participate in the World Cossack Fight Championship based on preliminary applications submitted by 10 December 2015, to the WCFF address (vladibor_@rambler.ru).
5.2. Each team, consisting of more than 10 athletes, must have one judge at the expense of the sending organization.
5.3. All judges must have accident insurance and a medical certificate.
5.4. The competition is held according to the current international competition rules of Cossack Fight, approved by the WCFF and the Ministry.
5.5. All participants must have: a passport, accident insurance, MS, MSMK, ZMSU must have a certificate;
5.6. The competition is held in the following age groups, weight categories, and sections:

Odnotan(free and formal technical complexes);
Tan-fight(technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, self-defense);
Zabava-1(hand-to-hand with limited contact, semi-contact analog);
Borna-1(hand-to-hand with light contact, light-contact analog);
Borna-2 (hand-to-hand with light contact main, kick-light analog with low kick and throws)
Borna-3 (hand-to-hand with light contact free, MMALight)
Herts-1 (hand-to-hand with real contact main, full-contact);
Herts-2 (hand-to-hand with real contact main, K-1 analog with throws);
Herts-3 (hand-to-hand with real contact free, MMA)

6. Financial conditions for holding the competition
Partial expenses for the organization and conduct of the competition are provided by the charitable fund and other, attracted by the Federations, non-budgetary receipts, charitable entry fees.
Entry fee for USFCF athletes – 250 UAH (children and juniors), 350 UAH (adults)
7. Awards
Athletes who took:
I places – are awarded medals and diplomas of the respective degrees.
II – III places – are awarded medals and diplomas of the respective degrees.
8. Sportswear and equipment
Clothing form for Cossack Fight – participants’ sportswear must correspond to the traditional form of Cossack Fight (trousers, embroidered shirt, or club T-shirt). In the Herts-3 section, MMA shorts.
Sports equipment and gear – mouthguard, groin guard in a bandage, bandages, gloves on hands (10 ounces), for the Herts-2, 3, Borna-2, 3 sections open gloves for mixed martial arts (6 ounces “maxmix”), foot protectors, shin guards, and helmet, for women and girls chest protection. In the Herts-3 section, the helmet is optional.
9. Applications
Preliminary applications for team participation in the competition are submitted by 10 December 2015 to the email vladibor_@rambler.ru
- Each team representative must provide the mandate commission with a nominal application for athletes participating in the competition, in the established form, with all points filled in, certified by the structural subdivisions of regional departments of physical culture and sports.
- Nominal applications must be certified by a doctor of the physical culture and sports dispensary, the sending organization.
Passports, classification books of athletes, insurance policy are submitted to the mandate commission of the competition on the day of arrival.
