1. Goal and objectives.

The World Championship in Kozatskyi Dvoboi is held for the purpose of:

– popularization and further development of the sport “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” in Ukraine and the World; the World Championship in Kozatskyi Dvoboi is held for the purpose of:

– raising the level of athletes and judges;

– further improvement of educational and sports work in DYUSSh, KDYUSSh, sports clubs, sections at the place of residence;

– selection of promising athletes to form the Ukrainian national team in Kozatskyi Dvoboi for participation in international competitions;

– fulfillment of sports titles in Kozatskyi Dvoboi according to the unified sports classification of Ukraine;

2. Date, place and program of the competitions.

The World Championship in Kozatskyi Dvoboi is held according to the competition rules of the WCFF.

14 December – day of arrival of teams;

15 December – day of athlete registration from 11.00 to 18.00 at the address: Kharkiv, Marshala Zhukova Avenue, 2

Judging seminar – from 18.00 to 19.00; meeting of representatives and draw – from 20.00 to 21.00;

16 December –

10:00start of competitions, qualifying bouts;

17:00 – Grand opening ceremony of the competitions, final bouts, awarding of winners;

17 December – Departure of teams

3. Organization and management of the competitions.

The World Championship in Kozatskyi Dvoboi is conducted by: the WCFF (hereinafter – WCFF) and the NGO “Ukrainian sports federation “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” (hereinafter – USFKD). The direct conduct of the competitions is entrusted to the WCFF and the chief judging board, approved by the Presidium of the WCFF.

4. Preparation of sports facilities.

In accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of 18 December 1998 “On the procedure for the preparation of sports facilities and other specially designated places for mass sports and cultural events”:

¨ preparation of sports facilities is entrusted to their owners;

¨ control over the preparation of sports facilities and ensuring the safety of the competitions is carried out by a working commission formed by the relevant regional administration.

The owner of the sports facility, no less than 4 hours before the start of the competitions, is obliged to submit an act to the working commission on the readiness of the facility for the competitions.

Failure to comply with the requirements provided for in this paragraph, which caused emergency circumstances during the competitions, entails liability.

5. Participants of the competitions.

Athletes of the national teams of the countries are admitted to the World Championship in Kozatskyi Dvoboi, on the basis of preliminary applications submitted by 10 December 2015 to the WCFF address (vladibor_@rambler.ru).

5.2. Each team whose composition exceeds 10 athletes must necessarily have one judge at the expense of the sending organization.

5.3. All judges must have an accident insurance policy and a medical certificate.

5.4. The competitions are held according to the current international competition rules in Kozatskyi Dvoboi, approved by the WCFF and the Ministry.

5.5. All participants must have: passport, accident insurance policy, MS, MSMK, ZMSU must have an ID;

5.6. The competitions are held in the following age groups, weight categories and divisions:

Odnotan(free and formal technical complexes);

Tan-dvoboi(technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, selfdefense);

Zabava-1(hand-to-hand with measured contact limited, analog of semi-contact);

Bornya-1(hand-to-hand with light contact limited, analog of light-contact);

Bornya-2 (hand-to-hand with light contact main, analog of kick-light with low-kick and throws)

Bornya-3 (hand-to-hand with light contact free, analog of MMALight)

Herts-1 (hand-to-hand with real contact main, full-contact);

Herts-2 (hand-to-hand with real contact main, analog of K-1 with throws);

Herts-3 (hand-to-hand with real contact free, MMA)

6. Financial conditions of the competitions

Partial expenses for the organization and conduct of the competitions are provided at the expense of a charity fund and other extra-budgetary income raised by the Federations, charitable starting fees.

Starting fee for USFKD athletes – 250 UAH (children and juniors), 350 UAH (adults)

7. Awarding

Athletes who took:

1st places – are awarded medals and diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

2nd – 3rd places – are awarded medals and diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

8. Sports uniform and equipment

Uniform of Kozatskyi Dvoboi – the sports uniform of participants must correspond to the traditional Kozatskyi Dvoboi form (sharovary, vyshyvanka, or club T-shirt). In the Herts-3 division MMA shorts.

Sports gear and armor – mouthguard, groin shell in a bandage, bandages, hand gloves (10 ounces), for divisions Herts-2, 3, Bornya-2, 3 open gloves for mixed martial arts (6 ounces “maxmix”), foot pads, shin guards and helmet, for women and girls chest protection. In Herts-3 division helmet is optional.

9. Applications

Preliminary applications for team participation in the competitions are submitted by 10 December 2015 to the e-mail vladibor_@rambler.ru

  • Each team representative must submit to the mandate commission a named application for the athletes participating in the competitions, in the established form, with all items filled in, certified by structural units of regional administrations of physical culture and sport.
  • Named applications must be certified by a doctor of the sports medicine dispensary, by the sending organization.

Athletes’ passports, classification books, insurance policy are submitted to the mandate commission of the competitions on the day of arrival.
