1. Goals and objectives
The open championship of Kyiv city and Kyiv region in Kozatskyi Dvoboi
(hereinafter − Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship) is held with the aim of:
– broad involvement of the population in physical culture and sports;
– further development of the sport and its popularization in the state;
– raising the level of mastery of athletes;
– selection of the strongest athletes for the national team of Kyiv and Kyiv region for participation in all-Ukrainian and international competitions;
– activation of educational and training work in sports organizations;
– summing up the results of work in sports organizations;
– fulfillment of sports titles in Kozatskyi Dvoboi according to the unified sports classification of Ukraine;
2. Dates and venue of the competitions
The Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship is held on 28 May 2016 in Kyiv.

3. Organization and management of the competitions
The organization and management of the competitions is carried out by the Ukrainian sports federation “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” (hereinafter – Federation).
Responsibility for the preparation and direct conduct of the Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship is assigned to the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Kyiv City State Administration, the Department of Youth and Sports of the Kyiv Regional State Administration and the chief judging board formed by the Federation.
4. Participants of the competitions
National teams of sports clubs, organizations, DYUSSh of Kyiv city, Kyiv region, AR of Crimea, regions, Sevastopol city are admitted to the open championship of Kyiv and Kyiv region.
Age categories of competition participants:
Division “Tan-dvoboi”
– younger youth (boys* or girls*) – 7-9, 10-12 years,
– older youth (teens*) – 13-15 years,
– juniors (young men*) – 16-18 years,
– adults (men* or women*) – over 19 years.
Division “Bornya-3” (MMA)
– juniors (young men*) – 16-18 years,
Division “Herts-3” (MMA)
– adults (men*) – over 19 years.
Clothing of competition participants, according to the requirements of the Rules of sports competitions in Kozatskyi Dvoboi (hereinafter − Rules).
5. Nature of the event
The competitions are individual, held in accordance with the Rules.
6. Program of the competitions
Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship.

Competition program:
28 May 2016 – day of competitions.
10.00-13.00 – performances in the “Tan-dvoboi” division;
12.00-13.00 – control weighing of participants in “Bornya-3”, “Herts-3” divisions;
13.00-13.30 – grand opening of the competitions, awarding of winners in the “Tan-dvoboi” division;
14.00-17.00 – qualifying and semi-final bouts;
17.45 – final bouts, awarding of winners, closing of competitions, summing up, departure of teams.
The Kozatskyi Dvoboi competition program includes the technical division “Tan-dvoboi” and free fight (hand-to-hand) divisions: “Bornya-3”, “Herts-3” which are held in weight categories.

7. Safety and preparation of competition venues
Preparation of competition venues is carried out in accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of 18 December 1998 “On the procedure for the preparation of sports facilities and other specially designated places for mass sports and cultural events”.
8. Conditions for determining championship and awarding winners and prize-winners
Athletes who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in individual standings at the Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship are awarded medals and diplomas of the Federation of the corresponding degrees.
9. Conditions for funding the event and material support of participants
Expenses for the organization and conduct of the Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship are carried out at the expense of the Federation.
Expenses for sending competition participants are carried out at the expense of sending organizations.
Starting fee per participant – 100 UAH.
10. Deadlines and procedure for submitting applications for participation in the Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship
Preliminary applications for team participation in the Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship are sent no later than 7 days before the start of the competitions to the e-mail address: vladibor_@rambler.ru

For participation in the competitions, the following are submitted to the mandate commission on the day of arrival: named applications, certified by the seal of the organization and by a doctor, copy of the passport, classification books, insurance policies valid for the time of the competitions. Teams and participants who confirmed their participation within the established period are admitted to the competitions.
This regulation is the official invitation to the competitions.
