Kozatskyi Dvoboi World Championship 2017
Aims and objectives
The Kozatskyi Dvoboi World Championship (hereinafter — the championship) was held with the aim of:
- broad involvement of the population in physical culture and sports;
- military-patriotic and sports education of youth;
- popularization and further development of the sport “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” in Ukraine and the world;
- raising the qualification level of athletes and referees;
- awarding sporting titles in Kozatskyi Dvoboi according to the Unified Sports Classification of Ukraine.
Dates: November 29 – December 1, 2017.
Venue: Ukraine, Kharkiv, 2 Petra Hryhorenka Ave. — Communal Enterprise “Kharkiv Sports Palace”.
Organization and management of the competitions
The Kozatskyi Dvoboi World Championship is initiated by the World Kozatskyi Dvoboi Federation (hereinafter — WCFF) and the NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation Kozatskyi Dvoboi” (hereinafter — USFKD). Direct conduct of the competitions is entrusted to the WCFF and the chief refereeing panel approved by the WCFF Presidium.
950 athletes from 12 countries took part in the championship: Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Iran, Georgia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Poland, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania.
