Preparations for the Cup of Ukraine are underway in all regions
Regulations
for holding the Cup of Ukraine among adults and the All-Ukrainian tournament “Youth Cup of Ukraine” among juniors and youth in Kozatskyi Dvoboi:
1. Goals and Objectives
The Cup of Ukraine in Kozatskyi Dvoboi and the All-Ukrainian tournament in Kozatskyi Dvoboi “Youth Cup of Ukraine” (hereinafter – Cup of Ukraine) is held with the aim of:
- broad involvement of the population in physical culture and sports;
- military-patriotic and sports education of youth;
- further development of the sport and its popularization in the state;
- improving the skill level of athletes;
- selection of the strongest athletes for the national team of Ukraine to participate in international competitions (European Championship 2017, World Cup 2017);
- intensification of educational and training work in sports organizations;
- summarizing the work in sports organizations.
2. Dates and venue of the competition
The Cup of Ukraine is held 17-19 March 2017 at the sports complex – Athletics Hall of Sumy State University, at the address: Sumy, Prokofieva St., 38/1.
3. Organization and management of the competition
The organization and conduct of the competition is managed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ukrainian Sports Federation “Kozatskyi Dvoboi”
(hereinafter – Federation).
Responsibility for preparation and direct conduct of the Cup of Ukraine lies with the Department of Youth and Sports of Sumy Regional State Administration and the panel of judges formed by the Federation, the composition of which is approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
4. Participants
National teams of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, regions, and the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol are admitted to participate in the Cup of Ukraine.
Team composition: unlimited.
Age categories of participants:
adults (men or women) – 19 years and older;
Juniors – 16-18 years;
Youth – 13-15 years;
Youth – 10-12 years;
Youth – 7-9 years.
The uniform of participants must conform to the requirements of the Rules of sports competitions in Kozatskyi Dvoboi (hereinafter – Rules).
Admission level (by classification):
adults – not lower than 1st rank, juniors – not lower than 1st rank, youth – not lower than 1st youth rank.
5. Nature of the event
The competition is individual-team, held in accordance with the Rules.
6. Competition program
The Cup of Ukraine among adults and the All-Ukrainian tournament in Kozatskyi Dvoboi “Youth Cup of Ukraine” is held 17-19 March 2017 at the sports complex – Athletics Hall of Sumy State University, at the address: Sumy, Prokofieva St., 38/1.

Competition program:
17 March– arrival day of teams and registration of participants:
14:00 – 18:00 registration of teams, weigh-in of participants, registration of judges;
18:00 – 19:00 – meeting of the mandate and medical commission;
19:00 – 20:00 – meeting of the Panel of Judges, judges’ seminar;
20:00 – 21:00 – official drawing of participants with team representatives.
18 March – competition day:
07:00 – 08:30 – departure of teams from hotels to the competition venue;
08:30 – 09:00 – setup of sports grounds, equipment adjustment and judges’ meeting;
09:00 – start of competition;
09:00 – 13:00 – preliminary performances in the “dvoboi” sections;
13:00 – ceremonial opening of the competition;
13:30 – 21:00 – continuation of preliminary performances, semi-final bouts, and final bouts in all sections, except for “herts-1”, “herts-2”, “herts-3”.
19 March
10:00 – 17:00 – final bouts in the “herts-1”, “herts-2”, “herts-3” sections, award ceremony;
17:00 – 21:00 summarizing the results of the competition, departure of teams.
The Kozatskyi Dvoboi competition program includes the following types of competition, held in the corresponding age and weight categories, namely:
Odnotan (free and formal technical complexes);
Tan dvoboi (technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, self-defense);
Zabava-1 (hand-to-hand combat with limited dosed contact, analog of semi-contact);
Bornya-1 (hand-to-hand combat with light contact limited, analog of light-contact);
Bornya-2 (hand-to-hand combat with light contact main, analog of kick-light with low-kick and throws);
Bornya-3 (hand-to-hand combat with light contact free, analog of MMA Light);
Herts-1 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact main, full-contact);
Herts-2 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact main, analog of K-1 with throws);
Herts-3 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact free, MMA).

7. Safety and preparation of competition venues
Preparation of competition venues is carried out in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 18 December 1998 No. 2025 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for mass sports and cultural events”.
8. Conditions for determining champions and awards for winners and prize-winners
Athletes who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in individual standings at the Cup of Ukraine are awarded medals and diplomas of the Federation of the corresponding degrees.
Teams that took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in team standings at the Cup of Ukraine are awarded cups and diplomas of the Federation of the corresponding degrees.
The team championship is determined by the sum of points scored in the above-mentioned types of competition in the corresponding weight category.
9. Conditions of financing the event and material support of participants
Expenses for organizing and conducting the Cup of Ukraine are at the expense of the Federation.
Participation in the competition is at the expense of the sending organizations.
10. Terms and procedure for submitting applications to participate in the Cup of Ukraine
Preliminary applications for the team’s participation in the Cup of Ukraine are sent no later than 7 days before the start of the competition to the Federation’s email, contact phones: +38 097 954 52 09 – Volodymyr Anatoliiovych Radionov; +38 067 966 44 61 – Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Korniiaka.
For participation in the competition, the following documents are submitted to the mandate commission on the day of arrival: nominal applications, certified by the seal and signature of the leadership of the structural divisions of the AR Crimea, regions, the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol, and by a doctor of the sports-medical dispensary, a copy of the passport, classification books, insurance policies (valid for the duration of the competition), identification code.
Teams and participants who have confirmed their participation within the established term are admitted to the competition.
Protocols with the results of the competition, originals of applications, the report of the chief judge are submitted to the Ministry of Youth and Sports within 5 days after the end of the competition at: Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine (Department of sports-technical and applied sports), 01601, Kyiv, Esplanadna St., 42.
Accommodation of athletes at: Sumy, Prokofieva St., 38/1. Hotel “Olimpiyskyi”.
