of the World Cup in Kozatskyi Dvoboi

(adults, juniors, youth)

June 4-7, 2021

Odesa

1. Goals and objectives.

The World Cup in Kozatskyi Dvoboi is held with the aim of:

– popularization and further development of the sport “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” in Ukraine and the world;

– raising the qualification level of athletes and judges.

2. Date, venue and competition program.

The World Cup in Kozatskyi Dvoboi is held according to the competition rules of the World Cossack Fight Federation (WCFF).

June 4— day of arrival of teams and registration of participants:

14:00 — 18:00 team registration, weighing of participants, registration of judges at Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” 23 Fontanska Doroha Street.

18:00 — 19:00 — meeting of the credentials and medical commission (Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” 23 Fontanska Doroha Street);

19:00 — 20:00 — meeting of the Judging Panel, judges’ seminar (Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” 23 Fontanska Doroha Street);

20:00 — 21:00 — official draw of participants with the participation of team representatives (Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” 23 Fontanska Doroha Street).

June 5 — competition day:

07:00 — 08:30 — departure of teams from hotels to the venue — Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” 23 Fontanska Doroha Street;

08:30 — 09:00 — arrangement of grounds, equipment setup and judges’ meeting;

09:00 — start of competitions;

09:00 — 14:00 — preliminary performances in the “Dvoboi” sections;

14:00 — official opening of the competition;

14:30 — 18:00 — continuation of preliminary performances in the “Dvoboi” sections.

June 6 — competition day:

07:00 — 08:30 — departure of teams from hotels to the venue — Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” 23 Fontanska Doroha Street;

08:30 — 09:00 — arrangement of grounds, equipment setup and judges’ meeting;

09:00 — start of competitions;

09:00 — 18:00 — final Dvoboi in all sections, awarding of competition winners;

June 7 — summing up the results of the competition, departure of teams.

3. Organization and management of the competition.

The World Cup in Kozatskyi Dvoboi is initiated by the World Cossack Fight Federation (hereinafter — WCFF) and NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation Kozatskyi Dvoboi” (hereinafter — USFKD). The direct conduct of the competition is assigned to the WCFF and the main judging panel approved by the Presidium of the WCFF.

4. Preparation of sports facilities.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of December 18, 1998 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for mass sports and cultural-entertainment events”:

– the preparation of sports facilities is assigned to their owners;

– control over the preparation of sports facilities and ensuring the safety of the competition is carried out by the working commission formed by the corresponding regional administration.

The owner of the sports facility is obliged to submit an act to the working commission on the readiness of the facility for the competition no less than 4 hours before the start of the competition.

Failure to comply with the requirements provided for in this clause, which caused the occurrence of emergency circumstances during the competition, entails responsibility.

5. Competition participants.

5.1. Athletes of national teams of countries are admitted to the World Cup in Kozatskyi Dvoboi on the basis of preliminary applications submitted by May 25, 2018, to the WCFF address (vladibor72@gmail.com).

5.2. Each team whose composition exceeds 10 athletes must have one judge at the expense of the sending organization.

5.3. All judges must have an accident insurance policy and a medical certificate.

5.4. The competition is held according to the current international competition rules in Kozatskyi Dvoboi approved by the WCFF and the Ministry.

5.5. All participants must have: a passport, an accident insurance policy, and MS, MSMK, ZMSU must also have a certificate;

5.6. The competition is held in the following age groups, weight categories and sections:

Odnotan (free and formal technical complexes);

Tan dvoboi (technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, selfdefense);

Zabava-1 (hand-to-hand with restricted dosed contact, analog of semi-contact);

Bornya-1 (hand-to-hand with restricted light contact, analog of light-contact);

Bornya-2 (hand-to-hand with main light contact, analog of kick-light with low-kick and throws);

Bornya-3 (hand-to-hand with free light contact, analog of MMA Light);

Wrestling (analog of grappling)

Herts-1 (hand-to-hand with main real contact, full-contact);

Herts-2 (hand-to-hand with main real contact, analog of K-1 with throws);

Herts-3 (hand-to-hand with free real contact, MMA).

Odnotan and Tan dvoboi – according to age groups.

6. Financial conditions for the competition

The coverage of expenses for the organization and conduct of the competition is provided at the expense of extra-budgetary revenues. Expenses for sending and participation in the competition are provided at the expense of the parties sending athletes.

Starting fee 500 UAH.

7. Awarding.

Athletes who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in the individual standings at the World Cup are awarded with medals and diplomas of the Federation of the corresponding degrees.

Teams that took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in the team standings at the World Cup are awarded with cups and diplomas of the Federation of the corresponding degrees.

The team championship is determined by the sum of points scored in the above-mentioned types of competitions in the corresponding weight category.

8. Sports uniform and equipment.

Uniform for Kozatskyi Dvoboi — the sports uniform of the participants must correspond to the traditional uniform of Kozatskyi Dvoboi:

• · sections “Zabava”, “Bornya-1”, “Herts-1” — sharovary, vyshyvanka, or club T-shirt (in the “Herts-1” section for men torso is bare).
• · sections “Bornya-2”, “Bornya-3”, “Herts-2”, “Herts-3” — MMA shorts, rashguard or T-shirt (in the “Herts-2”, “Herts-3” sections for men torso is bare).

Sports equipment and gear:

• · sections “Zabava”, “Bornya-1”, “Herts-1” — mouthguard, groin cup in a bandage, hand wraps (“Herts-1” mandatory, “Zabava”, “Bornya-1” optional), hand gloves (up to 9 years — 8 ounces, older — 10 ounces), foot pads mandatory with closed heel, shin protection and helmet, for women and girls breast protection.
• · Sections “Bornya-2”, “Bornya-3”, “Herts-2”, “Herts-3” — mouthguard, groin cup in a bandage, hand wraps optional, hand gloves — open, for MMA of the “maXmix” brand 6 ounces (licensed by WCFF), foot socks with protection of the upper part of the foot and shin, helmet, for women and girls breast protection. In the “Herts-3” section helmet is optional.
• 9. ApplicationsPreliminary applications for team participation in the competition are submitted by May 25, 2021 to the e-mail vladibor72@gmail.com, ploxix111@rambler.ru
  • each team representative must submit to the credentials commission a nominal application for athletes who participate in the competition, of the established sample, with all items filled in,certified by structural units of regional departments of physical culture and sports, structures that manage in the field of physical culture and sports in the respective countries, federations-representatives of WCFF in the respective countries.
  • by the sending organization, nominal applications must be certified by a doctor of the sports-medical dispensary or a medical institution of the corresponding country.

  Passports, classification books of athletes, insurance policy are submitted to the credentials commission of the competition on the day of arrival.
