World Cup in Kozatskyi Dvoboi

(adults, juniors, youths)

4-7 June 2021

Odesa

1. Goal and objectives.

The World Cup in Kozatskyi Dvoboi is held with the goal of:

– popularization and further development of the sport “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” in Ukraine and the World;

– raising the qualification level of athletes and referees.

2. Date, venue and competition program.

The World Cup in Kozatskyi Dvoboi is held according to the competition rules of the World Cossack Fight Federation (WCFF).

4 June– arrival day of teams and registration of participants:

14:00 — 18:00 team registration, weighing of participants, registration of referees at the Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy”, Fontanska doroha St., 23.

18:00 — 19:00 — meeting of the credentials and medical commission (Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy”, Fontanska doroha St., 23.);

19:00 — 20:00 — meeting of the Judging Board, judging seminar (Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy”, Fontanska doroha St., 23.);

20:00 — 21:00 — official draw of participants with the participation of team representatives (Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy”, Fontanska doroha St., 23.).

5 June – competition day:

07:00 — 08:30 — departure of teams from hotels to the competition venue — Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy”, Fontanska doroha St., 23.;

08:30 — 09:00 — setting up arenas, equipment configuration and judging meeting;

09:00 — start of competitions;

09:00 — 14:00 — preliminary performances in the “dvoboi” sections;

14:00 — ceremonial opening of the competitions;

14:30 — 18:00 — continuation of preliminary performances in the “dvoboi” sections.

6 June – competition day:

07:00 — 08:30 — departure of teams from hotels to the competition venue — Sports Complex of the National University “Odesa Law Academy”, Fontanska doroha St., 23.;

08:30 — 09:00 — setting up arenas, equipment configuration and judging meeting;

09:00 — start of competitions;

09:00 — 18:00 — final bouts in all sections, awarding of competition winners;

7 June – summing up of the competition results, departure of teams.

3. Organization and management of the competitions.

The World Cup in Kozatskyi Dvoboi is initiated by the World Cossack Fight Federation (hereinafter — WCFF) and NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” (hereinafter — USFKD). The direct conduct of the competitions is entrusted to the WCFF and the main judging board approved by the Presidium of the WCFF.

4. Preparation of sports facilities.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of 18 December 1998 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially appropriate places for holding mass sports and cultural-entertainment events”:

– preparation of sports facilities is the responsibility of their owners;

– control over the preparation of sports facilities and ensuring safety of the competitions is carried out by a working commission established by the corresponding regional administration.

The owner of the sports facility, no later than 4 hours before the start of the competitions, is obliged to submit a certificate to the working commission about the readiness of the facility for holding the competitions.

Failure to comply with the requirements provided for in this paragraph, which became the cause of emergency circumstances during the competitions, entails liability.

5. Competition participants.

5.1. National teams of countries are admitted to the World Cup in Kozatskyi Dvoboi on the basis of pre-submitted applications by 25 May 2018 to the WCFF address (vladibor72@gmail.com).

5.2. Each team whose composition exceeds 10 athletes must have one referee at the expense of the sending organization.

5.3. All referees must have an accident insurance policy and a medical certificate.

5.4. The competitions are held according to the current international competition rules in Kozatskyi Dvoboi, approved by the WCFF and the Ministry.

5.5. All participants must have: passport, accident insurance policy, and MS, MSMK, ZMSU must also have identification;

5.6. Competitions are held in the following age groups, weight categories and sections:

Odnotan (free and formal technical complexes);

Tan dvoboi (technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, self-defense);

Zabava 1 (hand-to-hand with dosed touch, limited, analog of semi-contact);

Bornya 1 (hand-to-hand with light touch, limited, analog of light-contact);

Bornya 2 (hand-to-hand with light touch, main, analog of kick-light with lowkick and throws);

Bornya 3 (hand-to-hand with light touch, free, analog of MMA Light);

Wrestling (analog of grappling)

Herts 1 (hand-to-hand with real touch, main, full-contact);

Herts 2 (hand-to-hand with real touch, main, analog of K-1 with throws);

Herts 3 (hand-to-hand with real touch, free, MMA).

Weight categories for sections “Zabava”, “Bornya”, “Wrestling”

Weight categories for sections “Herts 1” and “Herts 2”

Weight categories for section “Herts 3”

Odnotan and Tan dvoboi – according to age groups.

6. Financial conditions of the competitions

The cost of organizing and holding the competitions is covered by extra-budgetary income. Costs of dispatching and participation in the competitions are at the expense of the parties sending athletes.

Starting fee 500 UAH.

7.Awarding.

Athletes who took 1, 2, 3 places in the individual standings at the World Cup are awarded with medals and diplomas of the Federation of corresponding degrees.

Teams that took 1, 2, 3 places in the team standings at the World Cup are awarded with cups and diplomas of the Federation of corresponding degrees.

The team standings are determined by the sum of points scored in the above-listed types of competitions in the corresponding weight category.

8. Sports uniform and equipment.

Clothing form in Kozatskyi Dvoboi – the sports uniform of participants must correspond to the traditional form of Kozatskyi Dvoboi:

• · sections “Zabava”, “Bornya 1”, “Herts 1” — sharavary, vyshyvanka or club T-shirt (section “Herts 1” for men torso bare).
• · sections “Bornya 2”, “Bornya 3”, “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” MMA shorts, rashguard or T-shirt (sections “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” for men torso bare).

Sports equipment and protection:

• · sections “Zabava”, “Bornya 1”, “Herts 1” — mouth guard, groin protector in suspensor, bandages (“Herts 1” mandatory, “Zabava”, “Bornya 1” optional), gloves on hands (up to 9 years — 8 oz, older — 10 oz), foot protectors mandatory with closed heel, shin protection and helmet, for women and girls chest protection.
• · Sections “Bornya 2”, “Bornya 3”, “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” — mouth guard, groin protector in suspensor, bandages optional, gloves on hands – open, for MMA trademark “maXmix” 6 oz (licensed by WCFF), socks with protection of the upper part of the foot and shin, helmet, for women and girls chest protection. In section “Herts 3” helmet optional.
• 9. ApplicationsPreliminary applications for participation of teams in the competitions are submitted by 25 May 2021 by e-mail to vladibor72@gmail.com, ploxix111@rambler.ru
  • each team representative must submit to the credentials commission a named application for the athletes participating in the competitions, of the established form, with all items filled in,certified by structural subdivisions of regional departments of physical culture and sport, by structures managing the field of physical culture and sport in the corresponding countries, by federations-representatives of the WCFF in the corresponding countries.
  • by the sending organization, named applications must be certified by a physician of the physical-culture and sports dispensary or a medical institution of the corresponding country.

  Passports, athletes’ classification books, insurance policy are submitted to the credentials commission of the competitions on the day of arrival.
