European Championship in Kozatskyi Dvoboi.
From April 27 to 30, 2018, the European Championship in Kozatskyi Dvoboi was held.
550 athletes from 10 countries took part: Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Cyprus.
The European Championship in Kozatskyi Dvoboi was held at the Kharkiv Sports Palace, address: Kharkiv, Petra Hryhorenko Avenue 2 (former Marshala Zhukova Avenue).
The Ukrainian national team in Kozatskyi Dvoboi participated in the European Championship with 143 athletes from 12 regions (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Rivne, Odesa, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv regions and the city of Kyiv).
Team ranking of the European Championship: 1st place — Ukrainian national team; 2nd place — Azerbaijan national team; 3rd place — shared by Turkey and Cyprus national teams.

– Deputy Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration — Babichev Anatoliy Valeriyovych;
– Director of the Department of Youth and Sports Affairs of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration — Kyrylenko Vitaliy Volodymyrovych.
The European Championship was opened by the chief referee of the competition, President of the Ukrainian Sports Federation “Kozatskyi Dvoboi” — Radionov Volodymyr Anatoliyovych. Participants were also personally greeted by: President of the World Cossack Fight Federation (WCFF) — Moshkovskyi Volodymyr Fedosovych, the wife of a Hero of the Heavenly Hundred — Tamara Shvets, Vice-President of the World Cossack Fight Federation (WCFF) — Korniyaka Oleksandr Volodymyrovych. Young Cossacks of the Slobozhanshchyna Cossack Army greeted the participants with a demonstration performance.
