REGULATIONS

of the World Cup in Kozatskyi Biy

(adults, juniors, youth)

May 30 – June 3, 2019

1. Goal and objectives.

The World Cup in Kozatskyi Biy is held with the goal of:

  • broad involvement of the population in physical culture and sports;
  • military-patriotic and sports education of youth;
  • popularization and further development of the sport of “Kozatskyi Biy” in Ukraine and worldwide;
  • raising the qualification level of athletes and referees.
  • fulfillment of sports titles in Kozatskyi Biy according to the USSC.

2. Date, venue and competition program.

The World Cup in Kozatskyi Biy is held according to the competition rules of the World Cossack Fight Federation (WCFF). Venue: Odesa region, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Admiral Ushakov St. 2 V, Akkerman Fortress.

May 30day of team arrival;

May 31– day of participant registration:

14:00 – 17:00 team registration, participant weigh-in, referee registration;

17:00 – 19:00 – meeting of the credentials and medical commission;

19:00 – 20:00 – meeting of the Refereeing Board, refereeing seminar;

20:00 – 21:00 – official draw of participants with the participation of team representatives.

June 1 – competition day:

07:00 – 08:30 – departure of teams from hotels to the competition venue -;

08:30 – 09:00 – arrangement of the venues, equipment setup and referee briefing;

09:00 – start of competitions;

09:00 – 14:00 – preliminary bouts in all divisions;

14:00 – official opening ceremony of the competition;

14:30 – 20:00 – continuation of preliminary bouts in all divisions

June 2competition day:

07:00 – 08:30 – departure of teams from hotels to the competition venue;

08:30 – 09:00 – arrangement of the venues, equipment setup and referee briefing;

09:00 – start of competitions;

09:00 – 17:00 – final bouts in all divisions, awarding the winners of the competitions.

3. Organization and management of the competitions.

The European Championship in Kozatskyi Biy is initiated by the World Cossack Fight Federation (hereinafter – WCFF) and the NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation of Kozatskyi Biy” (hereinafter – USFKD). The direct conduct of the competitions is entrusted to the WCFF and the main refereeing board approved by the WCFF Presidium.

4. Preparation of sports facilities.

In accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of December 18, 1998 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for holding mass sports and cultural-entertainment events”:

– the preparation of sports facilities rests with their owners;

– control over the preparation of sports facilities and ensuring the safety of competitions is exercised by a working commission established by the relevant regional administration.

The owner of the sports facility, no less than 4 hours before the start of the competition, is obliged to submit to the working commission an act on the readiness of the facility for holding the competition.

Failure to comply with the requirements stipulated in this clause, which caused the occurrence of emergency circumstances during the competitions, entails responsibility.

5. Competition participants.

5.1. Athletes of national teams of countries are admitted to the World Cup in Kozatskyi Biy on the basis of preliminary applications submitted by May 25, 2019, to the WCFF address vladibor72@gmail.com, ploxix111@rambler.ru

5.2. Each team whose composition exceeds 10 athletes must have one referee at the expense of the sending organization.

5.3. All referees must have an accident insurance policy and a medical certificate.

5.4. Competitions are held in accordance with the current international competition rules of Kozatskyi Biy approved by the WCFF and the Ministry.

5.5. All participants must have: a passport, an accident insurance policy, and MS, MSMK, ZMSU must also have a certificate;

5.6. Competitions are held in the following age groups, weight categories and divisions:

Odnotan (free and formal technical complexes);

Tan-dvoboi (technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, self-defense);

Zabava 1 (hand-to-hand combat with limited measured contact, analog of semi-contact);

Bornya 1 (hand-to-hand combat with limited light contact, analog of light-contact);

Bornya 2 (hand-to-hand combat with main light contact, analog of kick-light with low-kick and throws);

Bornya 3 (hand-to-hand combat with free light contact, analog of MMA Light);

Wrestling (analog of grappling);

Herts 1 (hand-to-hand combat with main real contact, full-contact);

Herts 2 (hand-to-hand combat with main real contact, analog of K-1 with throws);

Herts 3 (hand-to-hand combat with free real contact, MMA).

6. Financial conditions of holding the competition

The cost of organizing and holding the competition is covered by extra-budgetary revenues. The cost of participation in the competition is borne by the parties sending the athletes.

Starting charity contribution per participant for USFKD members – 400 UAH (children, youth, juniors), 500 UAH (adults). Second division 50%.

7.Awards.

Athletes who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in the individual standings at the European Championship are awarded medals and Federation diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

Teams that took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in the team standings are awarded cups and Federation diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

The team championship is determined by the sum of points scored in the above-mentioned types of competitions in the corresponding weight category.

8. Sports uniform and equipment.

Kozatskyi Biy uniform – the participants’ sports uniform must correspond to the traditional Kozatskyi Biy uniform:

  • · divisions “Zabava”, “Bornya 1”, “Herts 1” – sharovary, vyshyvanka, or club T-shirt (in “Herts 1” for men – bare torso).
  • · divisions “Bornya 2”, “Bornya 3”, “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” – MMA shorts, rashguard or T-shirt (in “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” for men – bare torso).

Sports gear and protective equipment:

  • · divisions “Zabava”, “Bornya 1”, “Herts 1” – mouthguard, groin protector in a bandage, hand wraps (“Herts 1” mandatory, “Zabava”, “Bornya 1” optional), gloves (under 9 years – 8 oz, older – 10 oz), foot pads mandatory with closed heel, shin guards and helmet, for women and girls – chest protection.
  • · Divisions “Bornya 2”, “Bornya 3”, “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” – mouthguard, groin protector in a bandage, hand wraps optional, gloves – open, for MMA “maXmix” brand 6 oz (WCFF licensed), socks with upper foot and shin protection, helmet, for women and girls – chest protection. In the “Herts 3” division helmet optional.
  • · Gloves and helmet according to corner color.

9. Applications

Preliminary applications for team participation in the competitions are submitted by May 25 2019 to email vladibor72@gmail.com, ploxix111@rambler.ru

  • each team representative must submit to the credentials commission a named application for athletes participating in the competitions, of the established sample, with all items filled out,certified by the structural subdivisions of regional departments of physical culture and sports, structures that manage in the field of physical culture and sports in the respective countries, federations-representatives of WCFF in the respective countries.
  • named applications from the sending organization must be certified by a doctor of the sports medicine dispensary or a medical institution of the respective country.

Passports, athlete classification books, insurance policy are submitted to the credentials commission of the competition on the day of arrival.
