of the Cup of Ukraine and All-Ukrainian Tournament in Kozatskyi Biy
(adults, juniors, youth, children)

1. Goals and objectives
The Cup of Ukraine and All-Ukrainian Tournament in Kozatskyi Biy (adults, juniors, youth, children) is held with the aim of:
- broad involvement of the population in physical culture and sports;
- military-patriotic and sports education of youth;
- further development of the sport and its popularization in the country;
- raising the level of skill of athletes;
- selection of the strongest athletes for the national team of Ukraine to participate in international competitions;
- activation of training work in sports organizations;
- summing up the work in sports organizations.
2. Dates and venue of the competitions
The Cup of Ukraine and All-Ukrainian competitions are held from October 10 to 12, 2025 in the village of Kolodenka, Rivne region, at the sports complex “Ivanhoe” at the address: Rivne region, Rivne district, village of Kolodenka, Zelena Street 53.
3. Organization and management of the competitions
The management of the organization and conduct of the competitions is carried out by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ukrainian Sports Federation Kozatskyi Biy (hereinafter – Federation).
The responsibility for the preparation and direct conduct of the competitions is entrusted to the Department for Youth and Sports of the Rivne Regional State Administration and to the refereeing board, formed by the Federation, the composition of which is approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
4. Participants of the competitions
National teams of the AR Crimea, regions, and the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol are admitted to the Cup of Ukraine and All-Ukrainian Tournament.
Team composition: unlimited.
Age categories of participants:
adults (men or women) – 19 years and older;
juniors – 16-18 years;
youth – 13-15 years;
youth – 10-12 years;
children – 7-9 years.
Level of admission to the competitions (according to classification):
adults – not lower than 1st grade;
juniors – not lower than 1st grade;
youth – not lower than 1st youth grade.
5. Nature of the event
The competitions are individual-team and are held according to the Rules.
6. Competition program
The Cup of Ukraine and All-Ukrainian competitions are held from October 10 to 12, 2025 in the village of Kolodenka, Rivne region, at the sports complex “Ivanhoe” at the address: Rivne region, Rivne district, village of Kolodenka, Zelena Street 53.

14:00 – 18:00 – arrival, team registration, weigh-in of participants;
18:00 – 19:00 – meeting of the mandate commission;
19:00 – 20:00 – meeting of the refereeing board, refereeing seminar;
20:00 – 21:00 – official drawing of participants with team representatives.
October 11, 2025
07:00 – 08:30 – departure of teams from hotels to the competition venue;
08:30 – 09:00 – setup of sports arenas, equipment configuration and referees’ meeting;
09:00 – national minute of silence for compatriots killed as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine;
09:00 – 13:00 – start of competitions, preliminary bouts in all disciplines;
13:00 – 13:30 – official opening of the competitions;
13:30 – 21:00 – preliminary and final bouts in all disciplines.

09:00 – national minute of silence for compatriots killed as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine;
09:00 – 17:00 summing up of the competitions, closing of the competitions, departure of teams.
The Kozatskyi Biy competition program includes the following types of competitions held in the appropriate age and weight categories, in particular:
Odnotan (free and formal technical complexes);
Tan dvoboi (technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, self-defense);
Zabava 1 (hand-to-hand combat with dosed contact, limited, analog of semi-contact);
Bornya 1 (hand-to-hand combat with light contact, limited, analog of light-contact);
Bornya 2 (hand-to-hand combat with light contact, main, analog of kick-light with low kicks and throws);
Bornya 3 (hand-to-hand combat with light contact, free, analog of MMA Light);
Borotba (analog of grappling);
Herts 1 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact, main, full-contact);
Herts 2 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact, main, analog of K-1 with throws);
Herts 3 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact, free, MMA).
Weight categories for the disciplines “Zabava”, “Bornya”, “Borotba”

Odnotan and Tan dvoboi – according to age groups.
7. Safety and preparation of competition venues
The preparation of competition venues is carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 18, 1998 No. 2025 “On the procedure for the preparation of sports facilities and other specially designated places for mass sports and cultural events”.
8. Sports uniform and equipment.
Uniform for Kozatskyi Biy – the sports uniform of the participants must correspond to the traditional uniform of Kozatskyi Biy:
- disciplines “Zabava”, “Bornya 1”, “Herts 1” – sharovary (wide trousers), vyshyvanka (embroidered shirt), or club T-shirt (in the “Herts 1” discipline men have bare torso) .
- disciplines “Bornya 2”, “Bornya 3”, “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” MMA shorts, rashguard or T-shirt (in the “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” disciplines men have bare torso).
Sports equipment and protection:
- disciplines “Zabava”, “Bornya 1”, “Herts 1” – mouthguard, groin protector in a jock strap, hand wraps (“Herts 1” mandatory, “Zabava”, “Bornya 1” optional), gloves (under 9 years – 8 oz, older – 10 oz), foot protectors mandatory with closed heel, shin guards and helmet, for women and girls chest protection.
- Disciplines “Bornya 2”, “Bornya 3”, “Herts 2”, “Herts 3” – mouthguard, groin protector in a jock strap, hand wraps optional, hand gloves – open, of the WCFF-licensed “maXmix” brand – 6 oz, stockings with protection of the upper foot and shin, helmet, for women and girls chest protection. In the “Herts 3” discipline helmet optional.
- Gloves and helmet according to corner color.
9. Conditions for determining the championship and awarding winners and prize-winners
Athletes who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in individual standings at the Cup of Ukraine and All-Ukrainian Tournament are awarded medals and diplomas of the Federation of the corresponding degrees.
Teams that took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in team standings at the Cup of Ukraine and All-Ukrainian Tournament are awarded diplomas of the Federation of the corresponding degrees.
Team championship is determined by the sum of points scored in the above-mentioned competition types in the corresponding weight category.
10. Funding conditions of the event and material support of participants
Costs for organizing and holding the Cup of Ukraine and All-Ukrainian Tournamentare covered from non-budget funds attracted by the Federation.
Costs for dispatching participants of the competitions: travel to the venue and back, daily allowance, accommodation, meals, transportation of sports equipment and inventory to the venue and back, and other expenses are covered by the dispatching organizations.
Entry and charitable fee – 600 UAH per discipline.
11. Deadlines and procedure for submitting applications to participate in the Cup of Ukraine and All-Ukrainian Tournament
Preliminary applications for team participation in the Cupof Ukraine are sent no later than 10 days before the start of the competitions to the Federation’s email addresses:

For participation in the competitions, the mandate commission on the day of arrival is provided with: named applications, certified with the seal and signature of the leadership of the structural units of the AR Crimea, regions, cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol, and by the doctor of the medical-sports dispensary, copy of the passport, classification books, insurance policies (valid for the duration of the competitions), identification code.
Teams and participants who confirmed their participation within the established deadline are admitted to the competitions.
These regulations are the official invitation to the competitions.
