7) CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION Start of the fights: 10.00 a.m. Allowed to start: Fighters of any styles and organizations, with a medical attest.
Starting fees: 50 € – adults men, women, juniors and children. The fighter can participate in different disciplines.

REGULATIONS

World Championship of Cossack Fight

(adults, juniors, young men, children)

1.  Purpose and objectives.

The World Championship of Cossack Fight is held with the aim of:

–          popularizing and further developing the sport “Cossack Fight” in Ukraine and the world;

–          improving the level of athletes and judges;

–         further improving educational and sports work in youth sports schools, sports clubs, sections at the place of residence;

–         selecting promising athletes to form the national team of Ukraine in Cossack Fight for participation in international competitions;

–         fulfilling sports titles in Cossack Fight according to the unified sports classification of Ukraine;

2. Dates, venue, and program of the competition.

The World Championship of Cossack Fight is held according to the competition rules of the World Cossack Fight Federation (WCFF).

December 14 – arrival day of the teams;

December 15 – registration day for athletes from 11.00 to 18.00 at the address: Kharkiv, Marshal Zhukov Ave, 2

Judges’ seminar – from 18.00 to 19.00; representatives’ meeting and draw – from 20.00 to 21.00;

December 16 –

10:00 – start of the competition, preliminary bouts;

17:00 – Solemn opening ceremony of the competition, final bouts, awarding of winners;

December 17 – departure of the teams

3. Organization and management of the competition.

The World Championship of Cossack Fight is carried out by: the World Cossack Fight Federation (hereinafter – WCFF) and the NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation “Cossack Fight” (hereinafter – USFCF). The direct conduct of the competition is entrusted to the WCFF and the main judging panel approved by the WCFF Presidium.

4. Preparation of sports facilities.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 2025 of December 18, 1998 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially adapted places for holding mass sports and cultural events”:

¨     the preparation of sports facilities is entrusted to their owners;

¨     control over the preparation of sports facilities and ensuring the safety of the competition is carried out by a working commission formed by the relevant regional administration.

The owner of the sports facility is obliged to submit an act to the working commission on the readiness of the facility for the competition no later than 4 hours before the start of the competition.

Failure to comply with the requirements provided for in this paragraph, which caused extraordinary circumstances during the competition, entails responsibility.

5.  Participants of the competition.

Athletes of national teams of countries are allowed to participate in the World Championship of Cossack Fight, based on preliminary applications submitted by December 10, 2015, to the address of the WCFF (vladibor_@rambler.ru).

5.2. Each team, whose composition exceeds 10 athletes, must have one judge at the expense of the sending organization.

5.3. All judges must have an accident insurance policy and a medical certificate.

5.4. The competition is held according to the current international competition rules of Cossack Fight, approved by the WCFF and the Ministry.

5.5. All participants must have: a passport, an accident insurance policy, MS, MSMK, ZMSU must have a certificate;

5.6.           The competition is held in the following age groups, weight categories, and sections:

Odnotan(free and formal technical complexes);

Tan-dvobiy(technical bouts, demonstration of self-defense techniques, self-defense);

Zabava-1(hand-to-hand with limited contact, semi-contact analog);

     Bornya-1(hand-to-hand with light contact, light-contact analog);

     Bornya-2 (hand-to-hand with light contact, main, kick-light with low kick and throws)

Bornya-3 (hand-to-hand with light contact, free, MMALight)

Gerts-1 (hand-to-hand with real contact, main, full-contact);

Gerts-2 (hand-to-hand with real contact, main, K-1 analog with throws);

Gerts-3 (hand-to-hand with real contact, free, MMA)

6. Financial conditions for the competition

Partial expenses for the organization and conduct of the competition are provided by the charitable fund and other, attracted by the Federations, extra-budgetary receipts, charitable starting fees.

Starting fee for USFCF athletes – 250 UAH (children and juniors), 350 UAH (adults)

7.Awards

    Athletes who took:

I places – awarded with medals and diplomas of the respective degrees.

II – III  places – awarded with medals and diplomas of the respective degrees.

8.  Sportswear and equipment

Clothing form for Cossack Fight – participants’ sportswear must correspond to the traditional form of Cossack Fight (trousers, embroidered shirt, or club T-shirt). In the Gerts-3 section, MMA shorts.

Sports equipment and gear – mouthguard, groin guard in a bandage, bandages, gloves on hands (10 ounces), for the Gerts-2, 3, Bornya-2, 3 sections open gloves for mixed martial arts (6 ounces “maxmix”), foot protectors, shin guards and helmet, for women and girls chest protection. In the Gerts-3 section, a helmet is optional.

9. Applications

Preliminary applications for team participation in the competition are submitted by December 10, 2015 to the email vladibor_@rambler.ru

• Each team representative must provide the mandate commission with a nominal application for athletes participating in the competition, in the established form, with all points filled in, certified by the structural subdivisions of the regional departments of physical culture and sports.
• Nominal applications must be certified by a doctor of the physical culture and sports dispensary, the sending organization.

Passports, classification books of athletes, insurance policy are submitted to the mandate commission of the competition on the day of arrival.
