European Championship in Cossack Duel.
From April 27 to 30, 2018, the European Championship in Cossack Duel was held.
550 athletes from 10 countries participated: Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Cyprus.
The European Championship in Cossack Duel took place at the KP “Kharkiv Palace of Sports”, located at: Kharkiv, 2 Petry Hryhorenko Avenue (Marshal Zhukov Avenue).
The national team of Ukraine in Cossack Duel participated in the European Championship with 143 athletes from 12 regions (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Rivne, Odesa, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv regions and Kyiv city).
Team standings of the European Championship: 1st place – Ukraine; 2nd place – Azerbaijan; 3rd place – Turkey and Cyprus shared the third place.

– Director of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration – Kyrylenko Vitaliy Volodymyrovych.
The European Championship was opened by the chief judge of the competitions, President of the Ukrainian Sports Federation “Cossack Duel” – Radionov Volodymyr Anatoliyovych. The participants of the competitions were also personally greeted by: President of the World Cossack Duel Federation (WCFF) – Moshkovskyi Volodymyr Fedosovych, Wife of the Hero of the Heavenly Hundred – Tamara Shvets, Vice-President of the World Cossack Duel Federation (WCFF) – Korniyaka Oleksandr Volodymyrovych. Young Cossacks of the Slobidske Cossack Host greeted the participants with a demonstration performance.
