World Cup of Cossack Fight 2017
Goals and Objectives
The World Cup of Cossack Fight (hereinafter referred to as the championship) was held with the aim of:
- wide involvement of the population in physical culture and sports;
- military-patriotic and sports education of youth;
- popularization and further development of the sport “Cossack Fight” in Ukraine and the world;
- increasing the qualification level of athletes and judges.
- fulfilling sports titles in Cossack Fight according to ESKU.
Duration: November 29 – December 1, 2017
Venue: Ukraine, Kharkiv, Petra Hryhorenka Ave, 2 – Kharkiv Palace of Sports.
Organization and Management of the Competition
The World Cup of Cossack Fight was initiated by the World Cossack Fight Federation (hereinafter – WCFF) and the NGO “Ukrainian Sports Federation “Cossack Fight” (hereinafter – USFCF). The direct conduct of the competition is entrusted to the WCFF and the main panel of judges approved by the WCFF Presidium.
The championship was attended by 950 athletes from 12 countries: Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Iran, Georgia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Poland, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania.
