1. Goals and Objectives
Open championship of the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region in Cossack Fight
(hereinafter referred to as the Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship) is held with the aim of:
– broadly engaging the population in physical culture and sports;
– further development of the sport and its popularization in the country;
– improving the skill level of athletes;
– selecting the strongest athletes for the Kyiv and Kyiv Region national team to participate in national and international competitions;
– activating training and educational work in sports organizations;
– summarizing the work in sports organizations;
– achieving sports titles in Cossack Fight according to the unified sports classification of Ukraine;
2. Dates and Venue of the Competition
The Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship is held on May 28, 2016, in Kyiv.
Address: Kyiv, Lavrska St., 31, Singing Field.
3. Organization and Management of the Competition
The organization and management of the competition are carried out by the Ukrainian Sports Federation “Cossack Fight” (hereinafter referred to as the Federation).
Responsibility for the preparation and direct conduct of the Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship is assigned to the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Kyiv City State Administration, the Department of Youth and Sports of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, and the main judging panel formed by the Federation.
4. Participants of the Competition
Teams from sports clubs, organizations, and youth sports schools of Kyiv, Kyiv region, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, regions, and the city of Sevastopol are allowed to participate in the open championship of Kyiv and Kyiv region.
Age categories of competition participants:
Section “Tan Dvobiy”
– younger boys (boys* or girls*) – 7-9, 10-12 years,
– older boys (teenagers*) – 13-15 years,
– juniors (young men*) – 16-18 years,
– adults (men* or women*) – over 19 years.
Section “Bornya-3” (MMA)
– juniors (young men*) – 16-18 years,
Section “Gerts-3” (MMA)
– adults (men*) – over 19 years.
The attire of competition participants, according to the requirements of the Rules of sports competitions in Cossack Fight (hereinafter referred to as the Rules).
5. Nature of the Event
The competition is individual and is conducted according to the Rules.
6. Competition Program
Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship.

Competition program:
May 28, 2016 – competition day.
10.00-13.00 – performances in the “Tan Dvobiy” section;
12.00-13.00 – weigh-in of participants in the “Bornya-3”, “Gerts-3” sections;
13.00-13.30 – official opening of the competition, awarding of winners in the “Tan Dvobiy” section;
14.00-17.00 – qualifying and semi-final bouts;
17.45 – final bouts, awarding of winners, closing of the competition, summarizing, departure of teams.
The competition program in Cossack Fight includes the technical section “Tan Dvobiy” and free fight sections (hand-to-hand): “Bornya-3”, “Gerts-3” conducted in weight categories.

7. Safety and Preparation of Competition Venues
The preparation of competition venues is carried out in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 18, 1998, No. 2025 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for mass sports and cultural events”.
8. Conditions for Determining the Championship and Awarding Winners and Prize-winners
Athletes who take 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in the individual standings at the Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship are awarded medals and diplomas of the Federation of the respective degrees.
9. Conditions for Financing the Event and Material Support for Participants
Expenses for organizing and conducting the Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship are covered by the Federation.
Expenses for sending participants to the competition are covered by the sending organizations.
Entry fee per participant – 100 UAH.
10. Terms and Procedure for Submitting Applications for Participation in the Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship
Preliminary applications for team participation in the Kyiv and Kyiv Region Championship are sent no later than 7 days before the start of the competition to the email address: vladibor_@rambler.ru

For participation in the competition, the following are submitted to the mandate commission on the day of arrival: nominal applications, certified by the organization’s seal and a doctor, a copy of the passport, classification books, insurance policies valid for the duration of the competition. Teams and participants who confirmed their participation within the established period are allowed to compete.
These regulations are the official invitation to the competition.
