for conducting the Ukraine Championship in Cossack Fight
1. Goals and Objectives
The Ukraine Championship in Cossack Fight (hereinafter − Ukraine Championship) is conducted with the purpose of:
– broad involvement of the population in physical culture and sports;
– further development of the sport and its promotion in the country;
– improving the skill level of athletes;
– selecting stronger athletes for the Ukraine national team roster for participation in international competitions;
– activating training and educational work in sports organizations;
– summarizing the results of work in sports organizations;
– awarding sports ranks in Cossack Fight according to the unified sports classification of Ukraine;
2. Dates and Venue
The Ukraine Championship will be held on November 6-7, 2015 in Kharkiv.

3. Organization and Management of the Competition
The organization and conduct of the competition is managed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ukrainian Sports Federation “Cossack Fight” (hereinafter – Federation).
Responsibility for preparation and direct conduct of the Ukraine Championship is placed on the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration and the main referee board formed by the Federation, the composition of which is approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
4. Competition Participants
The Ukraine Championship is open to national teams from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, oblasts, and the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol.
Age categories of competition participants:
– younger juniors (boys* or girls*) – 7-9, 10-12 years old,
– older juniors (adolescents*) – 13-15 years old,
– juniors (young men*) – 16-18 years old,
– adults (men* or women*) – 19 years and older.
Clothing of competition participants shall comply with the requirements of the Rules of Sports Competitions in Cossack Fight (hereinafter − Rules).
Level of admission to competition (by classification):
Adults – no lower than 1st rank.
5. Type of Event
Competition is individual, conducted in accordance with the Rules.
6. Competition Program
Ukraine Championship – Kharkiv, November 6-7, 2015.
Address: Kharkiv, Moskovsky Prospect, 244/1, XTZ athletics arena.
Competition Program:
November 6, 2015 – arrival of teams and referees;
14:00-18:00 – weigh-in, work of the credentials commission;
18:00-19:00 – formation of referee teams;
19:00 – meeting of team representatives and referees, draw.
November 7, 2015 – competition day.
09:00-13:00 – individual preliminary matches in hand-to-hand combat sections;
13:00-13:30 – opening ceremony;
13:30-16:00 – semifinals, performances in “Solo Form”, “Form Sparring” sections;
16:00-18:00 – finals;
18:00-19:00 – medal ceremony, closing ceremony, results summary, team departure.
The Cossack Fight competition program includes formal technical complexes “Solo Form”, “Form Sparring” and freestyle combat sections (hand-to-hand): “Play”, “Wrestling”, “Power” which are conducted in weight categories.
Solo Form(freestyle and formal technical complexes);
Form Sparring(technical matches, demonstration of self-defense techniques, self-defense);
Play-1(hand-to-hand combat with measured contact limited, analog semi-contact);
Wrestling-1(hand-to-hand combat with light contact limited, analog light-contact);
Wrestling-2 (hand-to-hand combat with light contact main, analog kick-light with low kicks and throws)
Wrestling-3 (hand-to-hand combat with light contact freestyle, analog MMALight)
Power-1 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact main, full-contact);
Power-2 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact main, analog K-1 with throws);
Power-3 (hand-to-hand combat with real contact freestyle, MMA)

7. Safety and Preparation of Competition Venues
Preparation of competition venues shall be carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 18, 1998 No. 2025 “On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for conducting mass sports and cultural and entertainment events”.
8. Conditions for Determining Placement and Awarding Winners and Medalists
Athletes who placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the individual standings at the Ukraine Championship are awarded medals and diplomas of the Federation of the respective degrees.
9. Conditions for Funding the Event and Material Support of Participants
Expenses for organizing and conducting the Ukraine Championship are covered by the Federation and charitable entry fees. Entry fee for participation – 180 UAH.
Expenses for travel of competition participants are covered by the sending organizations.
10. Deadlines and Procedure for Submitting Entry Applications to the Ukraine Championship
Preliminary applications for team participation in the Ukraine Championship must be submitted no later than 7 days before the start of the competition to the email address: vladibor_@rambler.ru

For participation in the competition, the following documents must be submitted to the credentials commission on the day of arrival: signed applications certified by the organization seal and a physician, a copy of passport, classification books, insurance policies valid at the time of the competition. Teams and participants who confirm their participation by the deadline are allowed to compete.
