August 20-23 in Feodosia will hold the “Open Cup of Ukraine” in the Ukrainian national mixed martial arts — “Kozackyy Dvobiy”. In addition to Ukrainian teams, teams from Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and other countries will participate in the competition. World Federation of “Kozackyy Dvobiy” proposes to conduct training camps at the Kafa sports complex from August 15-25, 2013. Within the framework of the training camp, seminars and certification classes will be held for coaches, instructors and referees in the official Ukrainian sport “Kozackyy Dvobiy”. All regional representatives, coaches and referees who complete the seminar and pass certification will receive international certificates awarding coaching or refereeing category.
We present the competition regulations:
1. Goals and objectives.
• Development and popularization of Ukrainian national martial art, the sport “Kozackyy Dvobiy” and MMA in the world;
• Promotion of a healthy lifestyle under the motto “Peace for the Children of the Planet – A World Without Drugs”
• Improvement of the level of skill of athletes;
• Development and strengthening of friendly relations between sports organizations of all countries in the world;
2. Date and place.
The competition is held from August 20-23, 2013 in the city of Feodosia (Ukraine, Republic of Crimea)
August 20 – arrival day, registration and weigh-in of athletes from 12:00 to 18:00 at: Simferopol Highway, 27.

09:00 – semifinal fights in all divisions, finals, awards ceremony

3. Competition management.
Overall organization of the competition is overseen by the World Federation of “Kozackyy Dvobiy” (WCFF), MMA Federation of Ukraine. Direct conduct of the tournament is entrusted to the main referee board and competition organizing committee.
4. Competition rules and referee board.
The competition is conducted in accordance with current international rules for “Kozackyy Dvobiy” (WCFF). The referee board is formed from referees recommended by participating teams. All referees must attend the seminar on August 20 and based on its results will be approved to work in the competition.
5. Competition program and participants.
Teams from regions, cities and clubs of CIS countries and the world are admitted to the competition.
The competition is held in the following divisions:
“Zabava” — limited contact with stoppage (similar to semi-contact);
“Bornya -2” — limited contact (kick-light) without stoppage, low kicks and clinch throws permitted;
“Hertz -2” — full contact, low kicks, knee strikes, clinch throws permitted (shoot-fighting, K-1);
“Hertz – 3” — (MMA);
“Odnotan” — solo compositions;
“Tan dvobiy” — self-defense

6. Competition funding.
All expenses related to conducting the competition are covered by organizers and charitable entry fees (entry fee 100 UAH).
Expenses related to travel, accommodation and meals of participants, coaches and referees are borne by the sending organizations.
7. Award of participants.
Athletes who took 1st place are awarded diplomas and medals. Athletes who took 2nd place – diplomas and medals, 3rd place – diplomas and medals.
Best athletes of the competition will be awarded valuable prizes.
The winning team is awarded with a cup.
8. Applications.
Competition participants must have identification documents, fighter’s passport, insurance policy, official entry lists signed by a sports medicine physician and certified with seals, which are submitted to the credentials commission on the day of arrival.
